We had a fantastic meal experience at Sophia's. They have several good wine choices to accompany your meal. We were there with another couple and all of us thoroughly enjoyed our dishes. I had a fabulous salmon, my husband a chicken dish that was fantastic. We met the owner and he was kind enough to give us a free dessert... More

Food is fantastic here. Atmosphere great. Being a foodie from NYC, this place in central Missouri did not disappoint. Get ehe small plates and share. Pretty good wine list also.

Had the "brandy 8oz fillet" perfectly cooked. Wife and Niece had pasta dishes, one with chicken the other with shrimp. Both were delicious. Service was quick, attentive, and courteous. Great food and presentation at about 1/2 the price of the high-end restaurants. Bar and wine list extensive enough for a moderate discerning tasts. Several high end bourbons that gave me... More

I have visited this restaurant many times and have never had a bad meal. Every choice I have made has been delicious from the filet, to the mahi mahi to the pasta. My favorite dish is the Mediterranean Chicken Pasta. The wine list is nice, with many choices. We have visited with groups of varying sizes. From a party of... More

My Wife and I went here once & it will be the only time. Perhaps I am just not snooty, or stuck up enough for this place, but I just didn't care for it. I am not a wine drinker since I have never liked the taste of sour grapes, & this is the type of place that has a... More

Atmosphere isn't special and it felt a little dark inside. But tasty food and generous portions made up for it. We were happy to find many choices on the dinner menu. Servers were friendly an efficient.

We visited Sophia's to celebrate the 60th birthday of a friend and while he was bemoaning this milestone our dinner made it all the more palatable! Our host was aloof, but that really was ok. Added to the ambience. Our waitress was efficient and knowledgeable of the menu. She made ordering interesting and had suggestions we wouldn't have thought of.... More

What Sofia's lacks in atmosphere, it makes up for in the food. We dined there on a recent visit to Columbia for several days of bike riding along the nearby Katy Trail. Our meals were tasty enough to recommend this place for other visitors to Columbia. The restaurant sits along a fairly non-descript section of a commercial strip, well out... More

I once again had a chance to visit Sophia's seems every time I go they get better. It is not just Italian food but I am telling you that the pasta is out of the world. I was with a friend and the anti- pasta was great. the service is fantastic, be sure to ask about the painting on the... More
