We celebrated a friend's birthday here recently and while the food was average, not bad but nothing special, our service was horrendous. We were in a medium-sized group and the server started out by telling us he hoped we didn't have to anywhere else that night because service would probably be slow. Never mind there probably weren't a dozen other... More

It was a weeknight so only a few people were there but it had a nice vibe and some Japanese import beer going for it but I was extremely disappointed in the fact that they only had typical Gekkeikan sake that anyone can get at the local supermarket - had high hopes of a variety of sakes available and I... Consistently good sushi. Basement lounge is fun. If it's the right night it's a good place to watch sports and enjoy sushi at the same time!

Sushi was delicious but service was very slow. Portion sizes are pretty small too. Basement area is decorated pretty cool.

Food-excellent quality unusual rolls and good quality sushi. The price is higher than average in St. Louis but worth the unique ingredients and high quality ingredients. Service--Waitservice is average at best. Usually once the waitperson drops off your food you won't see them again until the end of the meal. Hard to get drink refills. Our last visit we asked... This restaurant was conveniently located next door to the seven Gables Inn where we were staying. It was a small dining room but pleasant with large picture windows overlooking the quiet street. My husband had the Kobe sliders with caramelized onions and he thought they were quite good. I had the tempura shrimp sumo roll sushi. It was small but... More

Went to celebrate my partner's birthday. The atmosphere was great and so was the food. I particularly enjoyed the service, which was very attentive and the server explained clearly each dish we asked about. It is very easy to bring up your bill... You want to just try everything. Definitely worth going for special occasions or if you don't mind... More
