The first thing that caught my eye on my very first visit were the freshly baked pies at the very front of the place. What a sight !!! The prices are not Trader Joe's, but you wouldn't and shouldn't elect that from a top quality place. Take out a sandwich or buy their unforgettable burger blend. Or their homemade chips... More

They have great cheese, sausage, meats and other delicacies. We always go there to pick up something special to enjoy!

This little shop has a great choice of specialty foods. Dozens of cheeses, special cuts of meat, poultry and fish. The shelves are filled with unique oils, and condiments. Looking for something special, go here. They have a highly rated restaurant (Annie Gunn)next door as well.

I've been going to The Smokehouse Market for a long time now. Back when Airport Road was two lanes and most of the valley was cornfields. Back before the flood. I'm very fortunate to work only about 2 miles from this place and I go there often. I know of what I speak. The Smokehouse Market (or just "The Smokehouse")... More

Get the smoked turkey salad sandwich. You might have to get one for later, too, they're addicting! Also, great pies during the holidays!

Do you like paying 2x the price for wines such as Cakebread and other "new-USA overrated" wines? Then this is your place. Do you enjoy paying 2x the price for cheese which is similar in quality to Boarshead? Then this is your place. Do you like to be around pretty snobby customers whom can't open their mouths to utter "excuse... More

Cashiers have an attitude and are not hospitable. I buy from this place about 2 times a month. Serving staff behind the deli and meat counters are fantastic.

Gourmet market attached to Annie Gunn's is perfect for that get-away gourmet picnic. Short drive from "wine country" in Augusta, and it has everything you need to pack a delicious al fresco meal. Things are pricey, but excellent. Take home some bacon for later.

I am a native of St. Louis. When you come to St. Louis there are certain things you have to do certain experiences you must have. A visit to the world famous STL Zoo Going to the Arch Having frozen custard at Ted Drew's The Smoke House Market is one of those types of experiences. The food is always outstanding... More
