Expensive but DELICIOUS. As a traveler, I ate alone and the staff made me feel very welcome. I thoroughly recommend it. My only caution is that is very dark in the restaurant so lone travelers you can't read your book! more

Paul Manno's is an unexpected delight. This is more than a red tablecloth Italian (and in my opinion more than most "Hill" Italians as well). It is intimate, and a bit old fashioned in decor and attitude. As an example, Paul Manno's still finish many / most of their dishes tableside. Bottom line, however, the food is really, really good.... more

Best Italian food in St. Louis, off the hill, period. Don't let the strip mall frontage fool you this, is the real deal. Jim Erickson more
