This was a great experience. The service was wonderful and the food was even better. It does take a little longer than most Mexican restaurants but it is worth the wait. You can tell everything is fresh

Acapulco has a traditional Mexican atmosphere fountain included. They offer an extensive menu with all the traditional Mexican fare and cocktails to accompany. The food was typical Mexican nothing spectacular but much better than any other I have had in Cape thus far. I recommend it for if your in town.

I wish I could have posted a review with no rating because we never got to eat there! The address is wrong in TA. We ended up eating at Texas Roadhouse (which was very disappointing) and as we left the parking lot we saw El Acapulco at a different exit and on a different road than what is listed here!

The food was pretty good. I did like the table we sat at-we had plenty if space & privacy. The seating isn't crammed. Service was ok but not A1.

My wife and I took a short trip to southeast Missouri in Feburary. The first evening we were in Cape Girardeau we thought: Mexican food tonight: El Acapulco - a good choice. Inasmuch as their menu is not included in their website and Joan can’t remember what her entree was called, I will have to just describe it: two thin,... More

I have eaten at a ton of Mexican restaurants all across the country and in Mexico, and this is my favorite. I'm not a big Tex-Mex fan. I want the real deal. This is my favorite. Great authentic Mexican food at a great price. My favorites are the Burritos Leon (if you like verde sauce) and the Ranchero Special.

Being from the southwest I have eaten really good Mexican food as well as tex-mex, when you get to the Mississippi River the chances of getting really good of either becomes slim and none! Then we found the El Acapulco and found truly great Mexican food. The selection is widely varied and always great tasting. If you are traveling on... More

I ate at the bar. The bartender left a mess on the bar next to me; my place was clean, but the rest of the bar was not. Happy hour from 3pm to 9pm? Really? Anyway, the margarita's were watered down and pre-mixed. Not a big deal, as most places are like that now, but they pour it out of... More
