Pity. Unfortunately the building went from rustic to dilapidated. Food started as OK and kept going downhill. Hopefully someone might open it in the future - great location.

This place closed quite mid 2013 and is vacant. It was alright. Average food & mediocre service towards the end.

We ate there once but was not impressed. It's been closed for about a year. I have not more to say about this place.

I'm sad to see Buckner's close it's doors I was a student in Cape Girardeau from 2002 to 2004 and had some really good times. The food was great and their beer was second to none. I will remember it fondly.

I Was told it had been closed several months. Signs are up and windows are still decorated. We were here on a busy day and there was no activity

My husband and I love local breweries, so we decided to stop in here for a beer and order dinner to go as we drove through from a trip our each back home to St. Louis, MO. The beer cheese soup was an un-flavorful baked potato soup, the beer was just okay. My pizza tasted different, not very much flavor,... More

Being fans of microbrews and brew pubs, a friend and I were in town and excited to give Buckner Brewing a try. The moment we walked in, we noticed a wet, sticky floor and a musty smell in the air. I'm no stranger to dive bars & restaurants, but it just seemed dirty and sticky. We sampled a few of... More

This is an old (?) brewing company so has a lot of brewing memorabilia scattered around. Whether on purpose or not, it seems worn and older but that was no problem. We sat in a loft area that was nice because it was quiet and a bit apart. Items on the menu were varied and ranged from the typical pub... More

This is a must stop if your at the Cape. They have a great selection of beer (try the honey wheat). Our server was excellent and the food was as well. If your dining, try sitting on the second floor. It has a great view of the Mississippi River.
