Went there to try the frogs legs and the alligator, they were out of both. Very disappointed. Unfortunately we haven't had a chance to get back and try again.

As always, the food and service at Broussards was excellent. I have to say it is better than almost all other cajun restaurants in the country. You guys rate right up there with my favorite in Lafayette, LA. So thrilled to have you so close to home. Thanks for making everything so tasty....even down to those delicious croutons on the... Yum! The food is awesome, the service is amazing and the prices are great! What more can you ask for? It is true Cajun food at its best. The house salad dressing is delicious and even the croutons on the salad are wonderful. A great place to go and one that we keep returning to time and again. Enjoy!

We stopped in Cape Girardeau while traveling and had to try the #1 restaurant in the area. It's a cool place downtown Main Street next to the Mississippi. The food is authentic and well priced but prepared prior to serving which gave the quality a slight down grade. Overall a great experience but unsure of the #1 rating.

There's a reason Broussard's is consistently rated a top restaurant in Cape Girardeau. Food quality is top notch and is every bit as good as what you find in New Orleans. And it's ALWAYS good! Today we had the gumbo with red beans & rice and the creole chicken Parmesan. Yummy! When in Cape, go where the locals go.

Staff very friendly excellent whole boiled craw-fish. The fried corn on the cob is a nice touch. If you don't like whole boiled craw-fish the fried gator tail or fried craw-fish tails are also very good. Definitely stop by on your way through Cape Gir.

Brossard's is more than a restaurant. It takes you into the world of Cajun cuisine with atmosphere. The food is consistently great! It is hands down our favorite food experience and is right in our hometown of Cape Girardeau MO. If you are passing through you must go to Broussard's!

The food was good, they use a lot of pepper. Would be hard to find anything bland on the menu. The soft drinks and tea are huge, to help you handle the spicy food. I had the chicken parm, large portion, had to take some home.

This was my second visit to Broussard’s and it was another good experience; great location in downtown Cape Girardeau just a stone’s throw from the river. Broussard’s is casual with a full bar and large Cajun menu. On this visit I enjoyed the Wednesday lunch special, a half portion of Jambalaya with salad ($7.99). The Jambalaya was a generous portion... More
