Great place to eat, good food and view of the river.

We went to the new location on January 31st and it was great. Upstairs seating provides a view of the river. Food is always good, served hot and served in a timely manner.

My husband and I went down to Broussard's January 27 after they finished a complete overhaul of their restaurant space -- they moved a couple of buildings down from their original location. It went from dingy and dirty to clean and pleasant to dine at. The best part for us was that now it is nonsmoking. The food was still... More

Broussard's has moved to a new location, 114 N. Main Street (just 3 doors down in the same block from their old location). Beautiful new building, two stories, great murals, and now all non-smoking. The food, the management, and the staff are just as awesome as ever.

We eat Cajun food every chance we get and this food was great! There is a LOT of it and it is served hot. Nickie (pretty sure this was her name) is a great waitress. We had crawfish étouffée,red beans and rice and crawfish gumbo.

I carry my own purified water with me. Yes I am a water snob. So what? I was asked to make my water bottle disappear. What??? Well, that would have been minor had the food been any good at all, which it wasn't. I will NEVER go back. Dirty, dingy, and disgusting. Blech!

I knew I would love Broussard's my first visit. Plain tables: a roll of paper towels and silverware in a masonry jar. Then, cold beer and a couple pounds of crawdads poured onto a newspaper tablecloth. Oh my. So good I returned for the étouffée - shrimp, gator, crawdad, it's all good. The gator tail appetizers are fantastic as well.... More

I love the food here (and I've tried most of the things on the menu). The feel of the place is very much like a little out of the way place in New Orleans. They have the BEST Bloody Marys around. Just all in all my favorite place to eat.

My brothers and I met here from lunch last month. I had eaten here before and was impressed. We had several appetizers and drinks. We were all impressed with the service and the quality of the food. I highly recommend this place for a snack or full meal. Thank you for a wonderful experience!!

We brought my boyfriends daughter here to celebrate her birthday and it was her first time eating Cajun food. Well everything was a big hit. We all had great meals and drink. Our waitress was new and kind of nervous, but she was really sweet and everything came out just fine. We will be back as always.

I usually eat here once or twice a year. It has been a while since I've been there. The place is the same, that's great. The service was a little slow, not bad, just slow. The food was tasty but not as much as I recalled. The beans and rice & jambalaya seemed heavier on the rice and a little... More
