Great food and portions

The food had great flavor and the staff was great. Made sure that you were a satisfied customer. The salsa was not that spicy but yet still good.

I have been going to this restaurant for the last few years. There are several El Maguey's throughout St. Louis and St. Charles Counties and all of them are good. This Bridgeton location has Happy Hour specials every day on their various margaritas. They offer a lot of menu options, good value, delicious, great service, and in a fun and... More

Met a coworker for lunch. Came here because of previous good reviews. Ordered huevos con chorizo. It came out burnt. The waiter didn't bring my drink till the food came. The staff kept chatting up their Spanish speaking friends instead of waiting on other guests. The Spanish speaking friends of the restaurant workers kept using racial slurs in Spanish that... More

Got Carne asada and it was really good staff was very friendly. The margaritas weren't top notch but they weren't bad.

My first visit to this restaurant found the food and service was very good. I had carnitas which was very tender and flavorful. My colleagues had a chicken and a fish dish which they thoroughly enjoyed. The waiter was attentive but not over the top. The atmosphere is casual with a few TV monitors mounted strategically in corners of the... More

I was worried when 99% of the customers were white.thier menu was large with more that just burritos/tacos and I ordered the guisado de puerco which is a pork stew in a green spicy sauce. I have had this dish over 50 times at different restaurants in the US. Their version was more shredded pork and not chucks and the... More

First time visit to this establishment. Parking lot was filling up which we always take to be a good sign. We were greeted the instant we set foot inside and taken to a nice booth. The place was busy with many diners and wait staff. Our server promptly took our drink order and provided us with hot crispy tortilla chips... More

We went last night. The girl who took our order said it was her first day. The lack of training showed. When she didn't come back after we ordered I asked 2 other people to check on my salad. Our meals came out but still no salad and still no waitress. As we finished the meal the waitress finally showed... More
