It must be because it was offseason when my wife and I went to White River. My featured Trout was simply awful. It was cooked drenched in what seemed like rancid cooking oil. My wife opted for 'safe bet' with chicken. Chicken was very dried out and her potatoes were also heavily doused in grease. On the plus side -... More

My boyfriend and I have eaten at this restaurant a few times when we have visited Branson. Today we stopped in for lunch and I had my most favorite meal here yet. I ordered the Fish House Salad ($7.95-I think) with the blackened Salmon as an extra ($8.00 extra-I think). It was the best Salmon and mixed greens salad I... More

We frequently eat here when we visit Branson. The selections are varied so you can get something for everyone. I particularly like the salmon. I have also had the steak and that was good. Their desserts are outstanding. The wait staff are good and fun to have around.

Great location down on the river behind Bass Pro Shops. This restaurant is a part of Bass Pro Shops and is a must when you visit Branson. Sit and enjoy your delicious meal and watch people zip line across the river! After dinner, go out on the deck and feed the ducks and fish.

After visiting Bass Pro Shop we were planning to go to Joe's Crab Shack (of which I am not a huge fan, but the family wanted to visit), but because of the proximity of the White River Fish House we modified our plans. The atmosphere is very nice, on-par with a newly refurbished Red Lobster, but the food was much... More

Excellent interior, rustic and is on Lake Taneycomo. My wife had grilled trout and I had the Trout Almondine both were excellent and cooked to perfection. Good selection of local beers we both had the Table Rock Ale from Springfield Mo.

We have eaten here before and as always the food was very good. The jalapeno cornbread that is complementary is excellent. The food we ordered was great and the service was great we would definitely eat here again!! We don't have anything negative to say about this restaurant. When we finished we got to take our leftovers with us and... More

Branson needs to work on their restaurants......however, our last night visiting we had dinner at the White River Fish House. Server was nice, the food was good ( corn bread was great ) and a nice relaxing atmosphere.

A little pricey, but the food is definitely top-notch. It's affiliated with Bass Pro, but it's definitely not an advertisement for them. We all loved it. Would definitely go back again.
