The Original Outback!

This is the original Outback in which the partners each had a different idea of a direction to go into the future. We enjoyed a local beer in the bar and then met friends for dinner. The food was good and the service was "spot on" and friendly.

We went looking for a good steak and got one here. Service was excellent but the restaurant wasn't crowded at all. Considering January 2nd is the absolute low point of Branson's tourist season, it was no surprise. Probably a bit pricey but not horribly so. Atmosphere is inviting.

We had Aussie (beef) Dip and Adelaide chicken, both totally scrumptous. First time here and we were amazed how good and fresh the food was. Waitress was knowledgeable and friendly. Lots to see inside. A little like a more inland Bubba Gump Shrimp looking (no fish nets). Watch out for the alligators. Lunch $10, steaks and dinners $15 and up.

It was late and we were looking for something light to eat after most of the theaters had closed. We found this place located between Outback Hotel and an Outback Seafood and steak place (which was closed). This bar is located down a steep hill and the parking area at night is poorly lit. We entered this place. It has... More

We were told this was the original Outback and found it very good. We would not hesitate in going back to the restaurant here at all. If you are looking for a good place to eat this is it.

Came to have dinner on Christmas Eve, the server Linda we had was fantastic. Our food was also really good, cooked to perfection and full of flavor. Their menus choices were select in my opinion, as it didn't have many choices. Glad they were open though.

I ordered a ribeye (28 bucks) my husband ordered coconut shrimp (19 bucks) Food was OK, but not worth the price. The salad was just average, lettuce, onion, cucumber and 2 small tomatoes. We were celebrating our anniversary and thought we would splurge. Expensive for what we got. The bread brought to the table was very just OK.

Go back again great. Both service and food. Went with my sisters, one of whom lives in Branson, she eats there on a regular basis. From the alligator appetizer to the bread to the main meal.
