We had been here before and decided to return for dinner. The service was a bit slow but found out later that our server was in training. Had the pot roast and was served nice and hot. The cornbread was served hot out of the oven with plenty of whipped butter. Yummy. Would definitely go back.

The cornbread was awesome and the service very friendly. The food was great and it was nice that there were shops in the cinemax right by the restaurant you could check out while you waited for beeper to go off. We would eat there again

Went to McFarlains for the fried green tomatoes today while we were visiting Branson. The service was slow and the table and menu were sticky. The $8.95 fried green tomatoes appetizer was skimpy and soggy. The catfish filet sandwich was bland. Not sure what has happened, but I wasn't very impressed this time around.

Food was really good, server was excellent. We had a few little mishaps but they were taken care of quickly and we left full. Apple pie and Coconut Cream Pie were excellent

A tourist trap. Service was slow and disinterested. Food from a somewhat limited menu was mediocre. The dining room is quite large and very noisy.

Husband ordered a steak med-rare (should be hot red/pink) came med well done ---waitperson came with eye contact (point since they were busy) took it away and returned in timely fashion with another waited while it was cut --- checked back several times to make sure it was... Although the place was fairly large and busy at the time we were there the service was prompt and the food was good.

McFarlain's is located in the Imax so you can eat and go to the movie. Food is good old down home food. Makes you feel like you ate at Grandma's house. My grandkids actually ate the food here and enjoyed it.

We read about McFarlain's and stopped for supper. Service was very good considering how busy they were. Service was very attentive considering the number of people in then dining room.. Order was correct and had excellent taste. The bakery items look great and we sampled one of the pies. Nice size with an excellent taste. We enjoyed this restaurant and... More
