McFarlain's was recommended by a friend so we stopped there for a late afternoon meal on arrival in Branson. There was plenty of tables available and were seated immediately. Our waitress was friendly and came by frequently to check on us. We were given the cornbread I had heard so much about. It was too sweet for our taste and... More

My family went to this restaurant for breakfast because we had been told on the phone that there was no wait for a table. We were seated right away, but after waiting for 15 minutes for a waitress to say anything to us or take our drink order, we went to the hostess to ask if we had someone assigned... More

Our first meal in Branson didn't disappoint, with lots of typical country choices on the menu! The food was good, warm and served in a reasonable time by a wonderful waiter who had us launghing! Had the fried green beans and sweet potato fries, as well as their honey cornbread as starters and even if I don't usually like green... More

We dined here on our last night in Branson. My husband and I both ordered the Backwoods Grilled Chicken which started off with delicious cornbread and honey butter. The entire meal was delicious and filling.

Great home cooking. Friendly service. We got a food pretty quick and after dinner we did some shopping in the same complex.

Had seen ads for the restaurant in travel books, etc. & specifically made a point to go there. I think we must have had the worse server in the whole place. She didn't talk much, tell us her name, didn't tell us daily special (as I heard others telling their tables). She truly acted like it was a chore for... More

The food here is typical country cooking. I find it very under seasoned and bland. Expect typical country fare like pot roast, pot pie, and fried foods. I have had the pot pie, which was good, and the pot roast, which wasn't as good. The cornbread is excellent.

Great food. Perfect location. Freindly employees. Lots to look at. If you are a larger party be sure to ask them for their specialty tables designed just for your group.

We had been here before and decided to return for dinner. The service was a bit slow but found out later that our server was in training. Had the pot roast and was served nice and hot. The cornbread was served hot out of the oven with plenty of whipped butter. Yummy. Would definitely go back.

The cornbread was awesome and the service very friendly. The food was great and it was nice that there were shops in the cinemax right by the restaurant you could check out while you waited for beeper to go off. We would eat there again
