Good food

The chili was really good with a sweet, hot flavor-maybe smoked paprika? We also tried the old fashioned hamburger-hard to beat. The turkey burger was juicy and flavorful too. The sandwiches are served with home-made chips which ere crisp and generous.

Great food, and wonderful old fashion feeling. Food was fantastic. had the roast beef platter. open face sandwich with stringy roast beef over homemade bread and wonderful brown gravy with side of red skin mashed potatoes, followed by a homemade apple dumpling with cinnamon ice cream . Had a wonderful meal and reasonable price. the water or ice tea is... More

We were told 10-15 min wait and it was 45 minutes. Our waitress had difficulty keeping up with our requests for drink refills, etc and the wait for our food was really excessive. If you get anything here that has the batter on it, be prepared that it is very salty (from the tenderloin, to the chicken strips, to the... More

We enjoy getting away from the traditional IHOP/Shoneys for breakfast any chance we get. My fellow trip advisors didn't disappoint again on this recommendation! We had the chance to visit this little diner for breakfast and enjoyed a great omelet with very friendly staff. Dorothy was our waitress and although she was extremely busy she took the time to talk... More

Stopped in and had the breaded pork sandwich. The sandwich was so good - reminded me of John's Pork Sandwiches in Butte, Montana. The only difference ...this patty was enormous, just about the size of a dinner plate. It so delicious. Blackberry cobbler was pretty good too.

This place was highly recommended and we were not disappointed. It is mainly a breakfast and lunch type dinning and always busy, which is always a good sign. Portions are plentiful and service excellent. Will most certainly go again.

When we got to the restaurant we were told there was a wait but there were several tables available that we could have been sat at Immediately. After about 20 minutes were finally sat at a table. We were assigned the rudest waitress who took our drink orders then told us the kitchen was on a limited menu as they... More

Wonderful food, great service. Decor is lovely, and a fabulous shop upstairs full of gifts, knickknacks and more. I would eat here every day. Yum! Price was good, plenty of seating for any size party. Roomy, pleasant.
