Good meals in quaint cafe

4 out of 5 of us had the fried chicken which was juicy and tasty. 1 person had the chicken fried steak and it was very tender. People around us had the catfish special and commented on how good the breading was. Our server was attentive and very nice. It was like having a good home cooked meal. The... read more

Went there a few years back on a trip. I still think about that food. Delicious doesn't come close! We had 5 of us. And we ordered quite alot of food. But it was well worth it. Place is cozy. Makes you feel like you are at MawMaws house on a Sunday evening. I can't wait to head that way... More

This was our second meal at this restaurant. The daily special never fails! It is always wonderful! The chef salad is also amazing (although I would recommend half if you're not extremely hungry!). Rachel is an amazing waitress!!!!! Ask for her if you can, your drinks will always be full!!!!!

Friends told us the food was excellent. So we waited one hour on a hot sunny afternoon ,on a hot bench outside. Well, the salad bar is simple. Not much to offer there. My husband had fried chicken. Said it was average. I had a burger and fries. Mediocre. Overall, not worth the wait. Steak and Shake would have been... More

We ate there for breakfast one morning and it was wonderful. They were busy but we got seated quickly. The owner makes the pasteries fresh everyday and they are to die for. The staff was very friendly and the food was good. This was my husband's favorite place to eat while we were there.

Welcome to Branson! Eat here and know you're a tourist. But also know the food is really good, the prices are really fair, and the service is really awesome. Great lunch spot for sure. Maybe being a tourist isn't so bad!

My family are here in late June 2015 in lieu of a Starbucks breakfast. It was a great choice, homemade food and great people. It bid an old restaurant with a lot of character. If you are in downtown Branson stop here for a meal and you will enjoy the home cooking.
