Appetizers were bland. We had the trout and both felt it a bit fishy although it was supposed to be a local product. We would have sent it back but it was a company dinner and it would have been inappropriate. The gin and tonics were ok but a bit shy on gin.

I had read the mixed reviews for this restaurant, but we had just arrived at Big Cedar Lodge for our vacation and didn't want to travel far for dinner. I thought the food would be "Applebee's" quality based on another review, but unfortunately it wasn't even that good. My husband and I both had the trout, which was supposed to... More

Food was very good. Our group had pork chops, ribs, brisket and prime rib. Everyone liked their meal (and the biscuits). Service was VERY slow (like most restaurants in Branson). Our waitress was nice, but rarely there. Big Cedar Lodge looked like a very nice place to stay.

This is a regular stop on vacation for our family. We do not stay at big cedar but come to sight see resort and eat buffet breakfast. A little pricey but it's worth it! Get the omelet, the chef cooks in front of you.

We had a great time at Big Cedar lodge and enjoyed nearly every part of our stay. However, the Devil's Pool restaurant was a big disappointment. The service and food were below average which made the prices feel too high. We do not mind paying for good quality but unfortunately the Devil's Pool staff and food did not deserve the... More

This place is good for breakfast and lunch. Staff is good. Food is not awesome and not a good value for what they charge.

Can't go wrong with the prime rib at the Devil's Pool Restaurant. The staff is extremely nice and eating on the large deck overlooking the lake was not to be missed.

We tried the appetizers for a relaxing evening. Nachos were quite good, everything else was marginal. They bragged about chicken liver, but it was still chicken liver. Nice view, nice people

Really good (small) buffet. I lived the omelet bar. Otherwise the offerings were scrambled eggs, fruit, Greek yogurt, sausage, bacon, biscuits and gravy, waffles oatmeal and a few pasties. Everything I ate was great. The view was wonderful and so was the service.
