Average at best, expected more.

For the cost we expected more. Service was good, but could have done without the young lady coming around wanting to take our picture. Probably not the best time to be asking. You might want to rethink. Food was hot upon delivery, and the onion rings had good flavor. The main course was just... read more

Corn and corn bread were awesome! Someone in another review said the coleslaw was bland. I AGREE..Was disappointed in the coleslaw. Beware of the chairs. They... More

We tried the lunch menu and were extremely impressed. The food was very good. We went back to try the breakfast buffet later in the week. The food was okay, nothing special, but the price was good. The thing that really aggravated me, however, was the hostess. When we wanted to buy something in the small little souvenir shop they... More

Was seated at a dirty table. Hostess wiped crumbs in the floor. Did not get the impression of a really clean restaurant. Server was very nice. Cole slaw was really bland. Chicken livers were wonderful. Probably a one time visit because of the giant chicken.

Good service, but the food wasn't really great like other places I ate during my stay. The prices are reasonable. The restaurant has a cute little gift shop in the front. The huge chicken statue outside was cool.

We tried one of the specials, which was one appetizer and two entrees for $25. The pickles were tasty. I had chicken tenderloins, which were huge and tasty. The side dishes were ridiculously tiny! The Mac and cheese was made with pepper jack cheese which I didn't care for, but the green beans were good. My husband had chicken &... More

We had the breakfast buffet which had a nice variety of breakfast options. The restaurant and food area was clean and the wait staff was very attentive.

The chicken strips were huge, tasted ok, but the mashed potatoes were stiff and there was very little gravy. The staff was friendly but couldn't tell the customer from staff. There wasn't any continuity in what they wore, everyone had a different color t-shirt, jeans or skirt. The salad bar wasn't fresh looking. Cauliflower broccoli and lettuce had tingles of... More
