Great Restaurant, Worth a Visit

Since August, 2005 we have attended the annual Missouri River Festival of the Arts in Boonville, MO. It is excellent and should not be missed. I have never had any good luck at WJ's. I find it overpriced, very poor but friendly service, and I always get seated by the kitchen. It is in an old house, with most small dining rooms. There is a bar to greet you as you enter.

Wonderful food & drinks. The servers are very friendly. I highly recommend the ribeye steak & if you enjoy phenomenal Bloody Mary's, WJ's is the place to go!

With the great service and steaks, this was well worth our visit to this small town. Brad and his crew provide excellent service. Will definitely stop here again.

This is our family's "go to" restaurant when going back to my hometown of Boonville, Missouri. Worth your time to drive from the highway and eat at this historical converted home.Once you've experienced it, you will be back!

My husband and I were recently in Boonville on a business trip. We had the pleasure of eating at W.J.'s. Wow! What a fantastic place! Brad, the owner was so gracious. The food was delicious, the staff were so attentive and you felt like you were coming home. We agreed, we would just go back to Boonville to visit W.J.'s... More

The owner of WJ's converted this historical home into a restaurant and bar, and did a fantastic job. The ambiance is old-town, yet comfortable and home-like, and the food is absolutely amazing. Do yourself a favor if you're travelling through, and stop in Boonville and enjoy the food and the hospitality!

Great food, both dinner and dessert. Service was excellent and the owner chatted with us for 15 welcome minutes with information on the area and local bicycle/ music scene. We WILL eat here again on our next Katy Trail trip

The staff was attentive without being intrusive. The food was excellent; rare filet is hard to do, but it was perfectly executed. The prices range from $5 to $25, so you can find something for every budget. The chef/owner even came to chat with us for a couple of minutes. It is a very casual place, no need to dress... More

During our stay in Boonville for a futsal tournament we decided to try WJs. What a wonderful restaurant! The service was great and the food was wonderful. It's a small place but full of character. If we ever find ourselves in Boonville again we will definitely stop here again to eat.
