Ate at WJ's on a Saturday and enjoyed the evening. It is a cute house and the food was good. We had the filet with salad and garlic mashed potatoes. Steak was cooked perfect and it had a light mushroom sauce which didn't overpower the steak flavor. Potatoes were awesome. Staff was very friendly and owner was out and about... More

I had seven out-of-town family members stop in for a weekend stay. WJ's was the perfect place for a great meal, drinks, and local atmosphere. Brad and the staff went above and beyond to make our experience memorable. The restaurant itself is quaint. Originally a craftsman-style bungalow, the dining is capacity is limited, which only adds to the charm and... More

WJ's is one of the best restaurants in Boonville. Their meals are prepared fresh so everything is top quality. The staff are extremely nice and helpful!

We had dinner here Saturday evening. Atmosphere is just ok, with pictures everywhere of the owner, who I guess is a local polician/attorney. Didn't do much for me. Food was good but nothing special. My husband got the beef tenderloin...it was pricey, and not prepared as ordered. Overall, it was an ok experience but I certainly wouldn't rate it as... More

We ate here for a couple years and have now given up since the bar was always open but the restaurant closes down if there aren't enough customers. Unfortunately, we seem to find ourselves wanting to eat when it is closed, for several years. The food used to be good, the portions huge. Their pasta dishes were very good.

We found this restaurant through tripadvisor. It was ranked as #2 restaurant in Boonesville. My elderly mother, three teenagers, husband and myself went into the restaurant 7:45pm. Quickly seated and drink order taken. When we went to order the kitchen was out of all steaks (ribeye and filet) which four of us were going to order. After rethinking our order, it... More

We were told this was the best place in Boonville & I think that's probably right. The wife & I both had the beef tenderloin & it was very high qualty beef prepaired just the way we ordered it. Had the crab dip for a starter & it was almost enough for a meal. Vvery rich & tasty. We split... More

If you only have one night in Boonville you have to eat at WJ's. Make sure to call ahead for reservations. When you get there make sure you ask for Brad, who is the owner, bartender, and local attorney (a good person to know in town!). We had a party of 6 and had a wonderful meal. Everything on the... Don't let the outside fool you. It's a house, but it's a big house and definitely a restaurant inside. Great food with a limited menu. Very friendly atmosphere and homegrown owners. It has a bar for the dinner cocktail, too! Definitely going back. P

A house turned into a restaurant! The food was great. I had the flank steak salad, it was wonderful. I don't normally care for Horseradish so I asked for the dressing on the side. Our server also brought a side of Ranch dressing just in case, very nice of her. Suprised, but I really liked the Horseradish dressing. We had... More
