Very noisy restaurant - no soft furnishings to absorb the sound. Unable to catch up with our friends conversation as you could not hear what they were saying. Squashed seating to maximise people numbers, unable to get out at one end of our table as the other table seating was squashed against it. We had phoned to reduce the table... More

Decided to give them another chance after a disappointing lunch. Shouldn't have bothered. Meal was uninspiring, my colleagues food was cold and my pudding was miniscule considering what they charged. To add insult to injury after waiting 15 minutes for the bill we had to go into the main bar to find the waitress who said " oh I forgot... More

Pub was very busy, great girl that served us. Food took a long night time to come out. The food was OK much better the first time we visited. My main gripe is them putting bacon on my burger when I specifically told them I don't eat pork. The first time their solution was to just take the bacon off... More

Visited here with friends as part of New Years celebrations. After waiting a little while, we were seated in the restaurant area where our food arrived not too long after which had been pre-ordered. For starter, I shared the deep fried Camembert with another member of the group and it was delicious. It was soft and cheesy and plenty of... More

Had evening dinner there at 5.30pm so only 3 of us in the dining room. 1hr 30mins for 1 course. 1/3rd of the menu was off and the available meals had food missing and was stone cold!! Ordered 2 sweets to be told 25minutes later that they were not available! Finally, we were charged for meals they couldn't supply and... More

We used to visit the artichoke on a regular basis, but it became far to gastro for us and to expensive for what was being served, so we started using the coach and sadly that is going the same way £18.00 for a 7oz steak with a handful of chips is over the top when you can get a steak... More
