We wanted a steak so my Dad brought be to this place he discovered. They do a Prime Rib special for $17.99 on Friday and Saturday evenings. Not sure what the weight was on it, but my guess is about 8-10 ounces. They do a good bake potato with the stead where you can get all the trimmings, butter, sour... More

The people are very friendly and it's a great place to escape from the hustle and bustle of town. It's a very relaxing atmosphere with great food. I've been eating there for years.

I grew up eating at Snead's BBQ. It has always been the best. Their slaw is in a class by itself. Fries are fresh cut with the skins on, YUM! Best meat around. They have a unique "hot" sauce that is like no other. Always love to eat there.

Seated at dirty table. Had to ask for it to be wiped down. Cold fries, tasted like leftovers, mediocre pulled pork. Staff was friendly. With great BBQ in KC, I hope visitors don't judge us by this place.

Located at the intersection of 58 highway and D, Snead's is a tad off the beaten path. Service has always been great and the BBQ is better than a lot of the more famous upscale BBQ restaurants in the Kansas City area. Portion size is good and their burnt ends are very popular, they sell out fast. Snead's is worth... More

If you want upscale, look elsewhere, but if you want the every best Burnt Ends (called Brownies here) in all the world, this is the place. Careful though, they sometimes sell out fast. Sauces are the beat too... Careful with the hot, our experience is to mix mild and hot to your taste. Remember this is a small town place,... More

My wife and I chose this over a Jack Stack BBQ since we have had Jack Stack and this looked local. The food is quite tasty: I had the three meat dinner and my wife had the two meat dinner. Great flavored meats. I liked the slaw and the beans were awesome. Clean restroom. Attentive staff. Great food for a... More

We ate at Snead's on Christmas eve this year for the first time. We went with someone that ate here as a child with his grandparents and has very fond memories. Overall it lived up to his memory, and we all enjoyed what we ordered. Three of us ordered the burnt ends and all agreed they are good. Much larger... More

Snead's has been in the Belton area for decades. The BBQ style is smoked very lean meats served with toast and fries. The regular sauce is fairly typical, but ask for the hot sauce - it is unique. This style of barbecue used to be in about three local places with the same basic recipe, and this is the last.... More
