Its pricey, but it is well worth the money. I was with a group of 8 and they gave us a nice room to ourselves. Where to start....I had the chicken dish which was very good. I also tasted: veal, which was amazing Sea bass, which was the best I have had The steaks are fantastic, seasoned and cooked to... More

They know how to cook, but the quality is lacking. I'd expect an alleged high class restaurant with such a name to serve prime steak but the quality is not there. High priced and over rated - go to Binions next door. Smoking is a factor.

A beautiful restaurant with much going for it, once you get past the prices. A list of good wines by the glass was a pleasant surprise as were the too good breads placed on your table. My filet was excellent but I don't believe I received the 10 ounce steak I ordered, although I was charged $44 for that tiny... More

This place was AWFUL. We had horrible customer service and a majority of the staff are either uninformed of what's going on in this hotel/casino or are not managed well. Seriously disappointed. I hand picked this place to stay for my 30th birthday. We spent a lot of money there and a woman who worked there was so rude and... More

My kids loved the hotel because of it's grand appearance. The indoor pool was nice. I've never had better pillows at a hotel. Complaints: staff acted bothered at the MLife counter. Not very friendly at all. The Americana Buffet was disappointing. The food had been there a while. It seemed like we were having leftovers. Also, we included a good... More

For the price for both of us (around $200 including tip), we hoped for better. The filet was average at best, the chicken was dry, the salads were as inventive as you might find at a lower priced restaurant. The decor and atmosphere were very nice. We expected more and were left disappointed.

Nice hotel, tight slots, pricy food with not much choices. Housekeeping staff really good. Asked for room with riverview-got it, refrigerator-no . Stayed 4 nights, could have used it.

We ate at the buffet, while we waited for our room. What a nice spread of good food. Some of the staff behind the counter give the shoulder as we are from the north, but most were terrific. Some of the questions we had could not be answered like what are these two shrimps...but well worth eating here

I enjoyed the breakfast buffet while a guest at the Gold Strike. I was seated promptly, and there were the normal wide choices that one would expect in an upscale casino buffet, include made-to-order omelettes. The quality of the food was excellent, although the pre-cooked pancakes were a bit hard. If you're hungry, this is a good place to eat.
