We have stayed at Harrah's before, but never at the 'Veranda'. I regret ever taking a reservation at this establishment. The front desk 'manager' is a bit*h. I asked for a late check out, to which she said 'FINE!' And then hung up on me. Then I called back to politely asked for 2 extra pillows (bc their actual bed... More

I can understand why this property is closing June 2, 2014. There is nothing to do except gamble and eat. The buffet wasn't very good and it wasn't open for breakfast. The staff was very friendly but housekeeping was hit or miss. We arrived to a very clean room with a beautifully made bed. The next day, the bed was... More

My cousin took an offer for flight & 3 night stay at this resort. They make sure their casinos out in the middle of nowhere, so once you get there you are stuck with nothing else to do but gamble. Luckily we came out a little under even. Most people don't since the slots are so tight. No wonder they... More

Really like playing here the best. Large variety of table games and slots. Was sad to here about the closing two days after we were there. Wish the best to all the employees

Country kitchen reminds me of food I ate in school... Edible but no flavor. Fried chicken came out and couldn't find a chicken breast in the whole batch. Took about 15 min to get a beer. We paid $20 each to eat food that we could have purchased from Walmart frozen section.

While in Memphis for a professional tennis tournament decided to try Harrahs Hotel in Tunica. Great value if you stay Monday - Thursday. During the summer, months fabulous pool facilities...golf...and sleet are available.

Been here several times and stayed at each of their hotels. The rooms are beautiful and spacious. There is a refrigerator in the room. No microwave which would have been nice since my husband likes hot tea. Not convenient to go to the gift shop and make tea. Did not find a restaurant in the hotel which would have been... More

We had reservation at the Casino Hotel, however, upon arrival the power was out because of ice storm. We were placed in the Veranda (same property). Even though we were early they had the room ready and it was a fabulous stay.

The Buffett is $24 a person on the weekend, it is not worth it the crab legs is what you would get on a run of the mill Chinese Buffett for a lot less, most everything was cold and bland, should have listened to my instincts since it was mostly empty. Enjoyed the casino just not there Buffett.

We decided to try the new crossroad buffet at Harrahs. They were not busy and the food was nothing special. All one can say about "it's food". My husband took the roast beef and it was cold and so were the fried shrimp. We ate around 530 and thought food would be fresher. I wouldn't go out of my way... More
