There were so many good things to try we ordered way too much food...but everything was outstanding. The fried pickles were the best I have ever had. The pork chop and mac and cheese were also perfect. The service was outstanding. Drink refills were plentiful and always given with a smile. the cook came out to check on our experience.... More

Took my wife and her sister there for lunch. They waitress was very friendly and helpful. We were there about 1:30 PM and there was still a good crowd but there were open tables. My wife and I ordered the Patty Melt, a large beef patty with cooked onions and cheese in a Texas toast top and bottom. It was... More

This restaurant is a real gem. My husband and I went there for dinner while vacationing in Tunica. The waitresses there were really the best. Very sweet and attentive. We had mostly appetizers, because they just looked so good. And they were. We had fried green pepper rings. Awesome. I'm not a big green pepper fan, but these were abolutely... More

Good service, good food, good prices. We had driven by here many times and finally had to make a stop. We heard some other folks saying how good it was for breakfast. We agree! Have been back a few more times since that first stop. Parking can be an issue sometimes. It's right on Hwy.61 in downtown Tunica.

We had breakfast here on the way to an Auburn vs. Ole Miss football game in Oxford. Based on the reviews we decided to give it a try and it was as good as advertised. Large portions, low prices, very clean with friendly service (what else could you want). I ate a doughnut, eggs, bacon, hash browns, pancakes and coffee.... More

We stopped here for lunch on our way to Florida. It was great to experience a piece of Americana. This restaurant has been in business since 1938, for what I understand. It was a former Pure Oil gas station. We had the pull pork sandwich and it was delicious. The service was great and our server was attentive. Would definite... More

It felt like I took a step back in time at this restaurant. The food was fresh and flavorful, but it felt odd having someone smoking a cigarette at another table 10 feet away from me. All the same, it was worth visiting and I enjoyed the experience.

We were last here two years ago and when we were in the area again we just had to stop for breakfast. The food and coffee is great, the service is friendly and efficient, and the donuts deserves an extra prop. I had the county ham breakfast and it was really a large piece of county ham, delicious. We will... More

Good Southern home cooking, clean and tidy, great service, and breakfast all day. Get some doughnuts to go if you don't have room for dessert. The atmosphere is great, too--like walking into 1950. The place was packed for the Sunday after church buffet, but still laid back and friendly.
