Went to Starkville Cafe for the first time today. Being a game weekend there was a wait for a table but well worth it! The best breakfast I have had outside my own kitchen!! Will be back the next time I am in Starkville.

Delicious home cooked food like Mama used to make! The smoked chicken is out of this world! Veggies are always perfectly seasoned....Reminds me of an old diner back home.

My family and I visited the Starkville cafe twice this past weekend. The first time was Friday morning with 3 people and then again Sunday morning with 6. We all enjoyed out meals - but we recommend the waffles and duck butter! Good service too.

If you want a true diner-style Southern breakfast, this is the place for you. Don't expect any vegetarian options or fruit and granola. This is the place for eggs, bacon, sausage and grits. The waitresses are all very experienced and efficient. The Liar's Table is a traditional morning hangout for local residents. Enjoy a leisurely breakfast surrounded by locals, students,... More

this diner on main street is a nostalgic favorite. Since it was always crowded - especially on football week-ends, I couldn't wait to try it. The breakfast was pretty average - a bit disappointing given the hype - but the people are great and friendly.

Went in Sunday and it was very crowded but owner was working hard to get everyone seated. Waitress was great and very attentive. Half our party ordered breakfast other ordered lunch. Everything was great and didn't take long given the crowd. Well worth your time no matter what you are eating.

I enjoyed my country fried steak, but it wasn't overly amazing. The price was also a bit steep. The environment was nice (I love cafes), so I'd really like to try this place again. Would probably be better for breakfast.

This place was recommended to us by locals and it didn't disappoint, some reviews are harsh, we waited 15 minutes, Party of 8, greated promptly, ordered and timely received food, fresh, good omelet and fresh hashbrowns. Definitely give this place a visit.

Went in this weekend with the family...I've been ordering their fried fish which usually is GREAT but this time it just wasn't that great. It wasn't fried crispy like it has been...granted they were a little busier than usual....2 breakfasts ordered and they sat in the window until all the food came out, including a steak AND my fish. They... More

If you're wanting to step back in time to the 1950's, this is your place. The breakfast and lunch menu is packed with all of the things you'd expect - pancakes, bacon, grits, chicken-fried steak, fried chicken. All of it is good, although if you're looking for something healthy, you'd probably better go elsewhere.
