The reviews say it all...you see more praise for the catfish than you do for their BBQ. The BBQ is just your average...nothing special. Their BBQ sauce is where you get the positive reviews on the BBQ. It is a good sauce...but that's all they have going for them.

Cooler full of ices, bottle beer caught my attention immediately. Order at the front and find a picnic table - your food will be out quickly. Yes, you can get your slaw on your sandwich. I did have to add sauce, because I like my BBQ sloppy, but the sauce was delicious. The service after the food delivery could have... More

The BBQ was ok. I had a sandwich, but everything that had been fried was soggy and dripping with grease. We couldn't eat it.

Local Landmark !! Great food, interesting location (old, converted house), and wonderful hospitality. Some of the best catfish I've ever eaten.

Best catfish in town! Excellent customer service! I highly recommend people try this restaurant and also try the fried ribs! Definitely worth it!

The barbecue was very moist and flavorful but my favorite thing here is the appetizer sampler - best fried everything to be found! Staff was nice but it is mostly self service once you place your order. I did not like the "nachos" - fritos and baked beans just should NOT be called "nachos".

Little Dooey is famous for a well-deserved reason: there is simply no other BBQ that I have had that matches the tastiness of Little Dooey. Period. The parking can be a little hectic outside, but that is literally the only downside to going to the Little Dooey. The next time you are passing through Starkville, you must give it a... More

When in Starkville we usually eat here at least once. Always happy with the food and service. We had traveled many miles today so we dropped by and got a takeout. Got to our hotel and discovered that Little Dooey's folks had not put in either of the two sides I ordered for my wife. We were not happy about... More

First off you had to swap flies to keep them off my table. First major turn off! Brisket was dry dry dry dry. No smoked flavor at all. Baked beans nothing special. Table was sticky to the touch. Man clean your dam tables. I had high hopes but was totally disappointing. Will not go back there.
