We'd never heard of it, but came highly recommended by hotel guest, while we were at the front desk asking about eating establishments. We enjoyed a turkey dinner with dressing, sweet potato casserole, mash potatoes, green beans, 2 cornbread muffins, large bowl of soup, and large drink for $15. Food was delish, but the dressing had a lot of celery... More

We were a little leary due to some online reviews about the friendliness of the staff. That must have been addressed. Everyone was wonderful. Very friendly and patient with us. We live in St. Louis, MO and this was our first time visiting the restaurant. Food was very good, staff was very helpful, and prices were perfect for what you... More

The sweet potato casserole is to die for! However, people who ordered the mashed potatoes were finding that the potato wasn't fully cooked, so it was chunky.

This was a pleasant suprise. Got the porkchop, okra, pinto beans, rice with gravy, and cornbread. The porkchop was excellent! I didn't care for the spice in the pinto beans or the sweetness of the cornbread; but there were several other selections. Another person at our table got the potatoes and they looked really good. When you want something different... More

Good variety of "home style" cooking. They have very good service and often fill orders within 2 minutes.

I stopped in for lunch and had no idea what to expect. I had heard the food was really good so I tried it out. They had a good menu selection but I was skeptical about fast food called "home cooking". I chose the chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes, fried okra, macaroni and cheese with a roll. The food came... More

My husband & I stopped by because it was the closest thing we had. We ordered the country fried steak, mac & cheese, sweet potato casserole and rice & broccoli casserole and diner roll for me and the pork chop, mac & cheese, spicy broccoli and mashed potatoes & gravy for my husband. Everything was delicious! I was not expecting... More

This place has amazing service and is always very clean. If something is not right, they will do whatever it takes to make it right. The food is always fresh and good. I have not had a bad experience before here.
