Great Teriyaki plus complimentary Miso Soup

This place has some of the best beef and chicken teriyaki of any Japanese Restaurant that I have eaten at in northern DeSoto County. The teriyaki sauce is thick, has lots of flavor, and your dish is garnished with broccoli and onions. It's so delicious! Also, they give you complimentary Miso soup... read more

When we sat down we were served miso soup. It was ok. Not a huge fan of miso soup. I ordered the Chirashi lunch special and it was good. It's a rice bowl with seaweed salad and raw fish on top. The white fish was a little fishy-which happens sometimes. But the other fish was fresh and good.

Maybe this was an off night for the Sushi chef. Have always enjoyed the softshell crab sushi and this trip was a disppointment. There were a few tiny crisp ends of something crispy and brown sticking out of one sushi. Not the generous pieces of a soft shell crab that are usually used in the sushi. There were large pieces... If you stay in Southaven, you will not be disappointed for sushi here. This was my second visit and I was happy. My only negative was that the unagi was slightly overcooked. I had their Rainbow and Nagoya roll and they were both great. Again, you get a complimentary miso when you order. I'll be back for my third time... More

Ordered the soft shell crab sushi which was very fresh and delicious, plus a generous portion. Also, ordered fried rice which is consistently moist and flavorful with plenty of chicken. Always recommend Nagoya especially for lunch. All meals come with Miso soup, but a nice crisp salad is served with an entree. Dressing on salad is a mayonaise and ginger... More

I was in town on business and staying in the Southaven area. When I was sitting at another local bar, I asked the bartender where is a good place for sushi. She immediately recommended Nagoya. She said you get a miso soup as part of the meal. I decided to give it a try. I show up and sit at... More

Nagoya is always at the top of my list of restaurants when I'm working near Southaven. Owned by the same folks as my favorite sushi restaurant, Nagoya lives up to their reputation got having great sushi.

There is only one place that has the best Sushi, this isn't it but it is "darn" close. My first experience with Sushi was at Mr. Sushi in Texas. Nagoya comes up very close to Mr. Sushi in Addison.

For the second consecutive year this has been the pre-meeting meal for me and part of my staff while we are here for the Gulf South Conference softball tournament (NCAA DII). We had a variety of rolls and they were DELICIOUS! We tried the Ultimate Roll, Dynamite Roll, Rainbow Roll, and Southhaven Roll. The place was quiet and the server... More

Great lil place right across from a *$'s; smaller venue with LARGE sushi and maki rolls. I was there with my subcontractor (they always pay!!) for a lunch/meeting. The rolls we got, 4, were very tasty, the Miso soup great, Edamame nice with sea salt. A total party in the mouth!
