Friendly Barbara made us feel very welcome and served some delightful tamales. Well worth a visit. If you're down at Rosedale it' s an absolute must.

These Tamales were amazing. We heard about them from an article about the "Tamale Trail" and they were well worth the...out of the way ...drive! Stopped in on a Friday afternoon, fresh,hot, not to much mass, just the right spice. A perfect way to taste a little history on you drive thru the Delta, and a steal at 8 bucks a dozen...yeah she got 'em fo sale ;)

The Tamale Road led us here and it was a pleasant stop off at a small building on the main road. Still you must look for it and when you find it stop off and have a taste. Be sure to eat in, have a pickle and talk to the owner, she is delightful. You can also get them frozen... More
