This restaurant has been around for years and I recently tried it again, a couple of times. The service is good, but the food is still bland, more Tex-Mex than Mexican. There are too many really good and less expensive Mexican restaurants in the Metro area for anyone to waste their money here.

The food was served hot, chips were crisp and fresh. Everything you want a Mexican food at a fair price and above average quality.

This was one of the first mexican places me and my wife tried when w came from TX and really liked it. The salsa is more pureed and not that hot, but its ok, the chips are what make it nice. The seasoning on it makes it. The other day we stopped in and I got the stuffed avacado. It... More

Cinco has been our favorite Mexican restaurant in Jackson for many years. The staff are fun and friendly, the chips & salsa are excellent, and their frozen margaritas are simply the best anywhere (careful, they are loaded). The tamales are one of my favorite dishes, but we often just share the Nachos al Carbon appetizer (mixed). They also have one... More

Same old Americanized "Mexican" food. Nothing authentic. If you want cheap eats with bland flavor, it's your place.

Food is good, place is clean and well managed. Try the back bar for some quiet fun. Nachos are good here

Listen, I'm a big fan of Mexican cuisine and enjoy everything from the original real deal to the Americanized Mexican stuff but if you want some SERIOUS margueritas take a cab or limo to Cinco de Mayo and sample a couple of the home made concoctions. Don't drive home!! Wow! The food is standard fare but be careful the margueritas... More

This is a good place to gather for chips/margaritas, and they have a varied menu, but it is a little overpriced compared to other Mexican restaurants in the area. Service is pretty good, but parking is terrible.

If you remember the Iron Horse Grill in Downtown Jackson, you,ll want to try this. Nothing like that chili based, melted cheddar taste. It still lives here at Cinco. Paprika covered fresh chips are delish. Great change from the white cheese staples at the other dozens of Mexican spots
