Totally enjoyed our lunch here while in Jackson. Beautiful, cozy interior with low lighting. Comfortable booth. Our server was gracious and did an excellent job. We both ordered the veal parmesan which was perfectly prepared with a fresh flavorful tomato sauce SO SO good. Their Caesar salad was top notch and the fresh bread had excellent crust and texture for... More

Can never go wrong here. Just wish they would relocate, not in the greatest locations. Food is very tasty, consistent and a nice variety.

For an Italian restaurnat outside of the northeast (we are Italian descent from NJ), this was one of the best we ate in outsie of the NJ/NY area. First, they were really nice in accomodating us as we were there for a death in the family, and a family member called ahead to ensure we would be quickly seated. Our... More

My Wife was not all that surprised when I told her that we were going to Amerigo for her Birthday (she had told a friend that's where she wanted to go). Amerigo has been one of her favourites for more than a decade and a half with many excellent experiences (we always try to visit during the early afternoon when... More

I had the Veal chef's special and my wife had the center cut steak (portabella). We both loved our selections and liked the simple atmosphere and service. Our waiter was very knowledgeable of the fare and did not interrupt a good meal. Not sure the price was worth it though. $20 for the veal and $33 for the 8 oz... More

Had the Chicken Cannelloni meal and it was great. The sauces were tasty and there was plenty to eat. Yes, there was almost too much bread and oil for me to finish the main dish. Wish there was an Amerigo in Wisconsin for us to enjoy.

We have visited Amerigo in Memphis, and enjoyed it. Came here because of a previous good experience. Not disappointed. I had the blackened Trout which was excellent, wife had an Italian dish. Service was excellent, prices fair. Loved the bread that was brought to us. Would have Amerigo in any city that we visit.

Amerigo's has been my go-to restaurant for years. The food is never bad, the service is usually very good, and it has a decent atmosphere. Their specials are often fabulous, but it really doesn't matter because it is all good.

Delicious! The complimentary bread is fantastic. I ordered the special, lobster and shrimp ravioli, with lump crabmeat and crawfish tails in a yummy bisque-like sauce that made you want to lick the plate! There were tomatoes in there, too. The ravioli pasta was thin and fresh and wonderful. I also had the Caesar salad which was wonderful as well. It... More
