Good entree, so-so dessert

I took several out-of-town guests here a couple of weeks ago for dinner. We had bread and butter on the table to start with, which we appreciated. I had a cocktail (good) and the others had various wines, but no one had any particular comments. I had the Ashley Farms chicken breast (listed under... read more

We had an extended family Christmas get-to-gather at Anjou. It was my first time there. Others in the family had picked this restaurant because they liked it. My food was perfectly prepared (Salmon) as was a filet and the Duck dish. The service was very good. Although a little bit pricey, I still enjoyed this dining experience. We will return.

I wasn't sure what to expect, but was pleased with my visit. The staff was attentive and accommodating. The menu was varied....something for everyone. Quiche was different, but very good. I would recommend them for a lovely getaway or a nice quiet meal.

I was staying at a nearby Marriott. I took a short stroll along a lake to this restaurant. Inside, it is beautiful: dark wood, perfect lighting, terrific layout. My waiter, Emerson, was attentive and very respectful. He made sure that everything I ordered was to my taste. Perfect drink, really good French onion soup and a lovely redfish (the veg... More

The food and menu were excellent. My Mom had a chicken cordon bleu pastry which was fantastic. However, I ordered a cocktail which was undrinkable. The cocktail sat untouched on the table during the entire meal and the server - a woman working the bar area - never once asked about it. She ruined our entire dining experience. The greeter... This may be an independent restaurant but it had all the feel of a chain or franchise which was not appealing. My husband and I ordered crepes and a pissaladere and although tasty they were not prepared in the typical French way. Crepes are usually stuffed but rather these had the cheese inside with all the other ingredients on top.... More

We were traveling thru Mississippi and wanted a nice meal after a long day on the road. I ordered a local beer and my wife ordered a glass of wine. I was told that they had just served their last beer which I had order so I did switch to another brand. The server brought my beer and told my... More

Upscale without being snooty. Consistently excellent food and service. Highly recommended. Could make a meal of all the appetizers! We've actually done that.

Visited Anjou restaurant for dinner with a group of business friends. We ordered a different sampling of the menu, from steak & chicken, to a special dinner of rabbit over linguini with mushrooms and a tasty sauce. There was a reasonable variety on the menu, but for a French theme restaurant I was surprised there wasn't more. Everyone agreed the... More

Great location, atmosphere, service, and food....One of our favorite places in this area. Really enjoyed the charcuterie plate and all the frenchy Cajun dishes. Great service. A bit pricey, but worth it.
