Three visits to Anjou recently have convinced me that this is the place to go. Escargot, salad with salmon, and the veggie plate are awesome. The Anjou veggie plate has a bed of spaghetti squash, olives, tomato, cauliflower and other veggies and a tasty marinara-- and you can add salmon or chicken, but a worthy meal either way. Lots of... A winner: this place has it all: Location, atmosphere, terrific service and food! I was in Jackson on a business trip and decided to try Anjou in the Ridgeland area. The setting is very nice as it is located on a small lake with both indoor and outdoor patio seating. There are ducks on the lake and a walking path... More

I have eaten at this location several times and every time the food is just excellent. Everyone had a great meal. The fixed price menu is a very good value. Compares favorably to the best places in DC or NY.

A few friends and I have visited for drinks on the patio. They have a happy hour until 7 which is great. I have not eaten a full meal here but the cheese plate was very good. The patio is near the water and they have heaters for the winter so that you can still sit outside. I would absolutely... More

I went with a couple of my girlfriends lately to this restaurant and we were underwhelmed with the service, however the food quality and prices were eyes we had expected but no greater. We all agree that if you're looking for a fabulous restaurant this may not be your first choice but it is not about what

Loved the private room for family and the service. Salmon was great! The location was just around the corner from the hotel where we all stayed. The atmosphere was lovely.

It was a slow night so we received top notch service pronto. As more diners came, however, the quality of service waned. Ambience was excellent. Good menu, and the food was very good. Will bring family and clients definitely.

Im not sure why I never thought of Anjou as a lunch option when it first opened, but now I do. There's a good selection including French onion soup, quiche and even a brie cheeseburger. The service was good and the the ambiance was appropriate for a business lunch or lunch with friends.

Good food, good service on a small lake in an upscale business district. Menu is responsive, they incorporated a suggestion I made for an oyster dish, it is delicious. My vote for best French onion soup in the city!!

We have been several times, usually as a "special occasion" treat like anniversary or a birthday, and it's our choice when out-of-towners are visiting and we want to impress them with our city. The atmosphere is incomparable---romantically lit, with a view of a lovely pond. And the food! Superb. I always order the mussels if they are available, and my... More
