This place is an expensive a-la-cart steakhouse. The food is good, but it's so dark you can't see what your eating. Recommend the cheesecake. WOW!

Prompt professional service for a party of 14. The steaks, sides, and salads were enjoyed by all, and the timings were very good. Our server was engaging and attentive without being intrusive. We will all return without question.
I flew to Jackson for my daughter's birthday. We had reservations for 12 guests.
The staff greeted us and showed us to the private room with birthday balloons.
The waitress was OUTSTANDING. The drinks, appetizers, and entrees where
excellent. At the end of the evening, they brought my daughter a cake with
candles. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed this evening. Tico even...

Had a business dinner with 7 men. Our server was very good. The appetizers were average. Our main courses were very good, and there was a good selection of whiskeys to enhance the steaks! Very pricey but worth the occasional treat for the steaks.
We went to Tico's for a business dinner. Anna was our waitress and did a wonderful job. The food was good and plentiful. My steak was charred on the outside and had to be cut off but the rest was tender and flavorful. The spinach side dish was excellent. I would recommend this restaurant.
Upon arrival it was impressive to see the autographed pictures of golfers on the wall (this should have been our first indication we had found yet another expensive Jackson restaurant), then passed the lobster tank full of over-priced lobster ($34 per pound) before being seated. When we looked at the menu there was steak (starting at $34) and there was...

not a place you would want to go on a budget, but the quality of the steaks are outstanding...sides are good, but not in comparision to steaks..would highly recommend to anyone looking for outstanding quality beef..
Tico's is an outstanding steak house. One of my favorites in the Jackson area. Great steaks (goes without saying) along with top notch appetizer's like the fired crab claws and some of the best drinks around. Great atmosphere and the wait staff is always attentive and friendly. Highly recommend this one when you have business associates or clients to entertain.
While I love the consistency of a Ruth's Chris when traveling, I love finding a local establishment with good quality at a good price. Tico's exceeded my expectations both times I've visited this year. The steak was great (had the filet mignon shish-ka-bob), the Italian salad was different (and good) and the drinks were strong. My Maker's Mark on the...

I have dined at Tico's several times and found it always consistent--consistently good, consistently comfortable and consistently expensive. There is a generally accepted split in the local population as to where one can find the best steak, Tico's or Shapley's. It's a personal decision (I go with Shapley's) but both are worth the taste-try. I have found other entrees, especially...
