Extremely limited menu. Food wasn't great and portions were small. Grabbed baklava for dessert on the way out and it was really good. Would stop for baklava but not BBQ.

Nothing but awful!! Sticky tables, rude owners / waitstaff, and food is only average .. Smells good from afar. Interesting building but not worth EVER going back

This place was not what we had hoped for so we ended up at Dickies. Much better and were pleased. Don't waste your time at Old Timers

I had lunch at Old Timers Bar-B-Que today, July 9, 2014. They don't serve ribs, so I guess it is questionable as to whether or not they can really call themselves a bar-b-que restaurant. I had the bar-b-que pork plate, and it was apparently pulled pork. It was served with french fries that were stuck together and cold, and an... More

My wife and I were craving some BBQ one Saturday evening so we went riding all over the area looking for somewhere different to see if we could find a hidden gem. We saw old timers BBQ there off I-49 and decided to give it a try. There were 2 cars in the parking lot at 6 on Saturday evening.... More

We have stopped there a number of times going to FL from Ark. We have always had a positive experience. Thought the food was good. The fellow that runs the place is not especially talkative, but I don't consider him rude. I go to a place for the the food and not the conversation with the staff. We first noticed... More

This place was pure genius. The architecture was a fine expedition of the best of Southern culture, tinged with Greek patriotism. A sleepy and ill-disposed man of Greek descent runs the place. I dared to ask his name, me being from the South and thus accustomed to introductions, and he shot back, "Why do you need to know my name?... More

The pork here was o.k. Don't ask about the chicken. There is none, and they will yell at you about asking. I don't know how they stay in business. They are some of the rudest people that I have ever met.

I have two rules about travel. First, I always try the Bar-B-Que. Second, I always try to eat something locals eat. Old Timers' was like eating at the local places I grew up with. As we waited for our food one Saturday afternoon, about 20-30 people came into the restaurant. Half a dozen knew each other. It was fun listening... More

They will serve you some food. We stopped here on our way from Texas to Florida to try some Mississippi BBQ. The man behind the counter was sitting in a chair half asleep. A girl came out of the back to take our order and she was having trouble staying awake, also. The pork sandwich that I ordered was okay,... More
