I have tried many dishes at The Front Porch over the years and have not been disappointed once. The Shrimp Po-Boy is to die for, the roast beef Po-boy is excellent when they are serving it, the Eggplant Napolean is amazing. The fried pickles are a must have! If you are looking for something lighter, try the grilled shrimp salad!

I've eaten almost everything on the menu and my favorite is the eggplant Napoleon. The burgers and steaks are awesome. All the seafood is fresh. If you're in the area definitely try front porch cafe.

The atmosphere is great with the cafe being in an old house. The chicken fried chicken and real mashed potatos and gravy was great with large portion for lunch. I love fried green tomatoes and these with the meal were perfect, thin cut with not a lot of breading and not greasy. Service was awesome. Worth the drive.

We stopped for lunch on a rainy weekday. The food was well-prepared and the service was friendly and efficient. It was a relaxing stop on a long drive. Worth the trip!

What a treat to find such good food away from beah front tourism. Not too far from Kiln and the Lazy Magnolia Brewery, this comfortable and friendly cafe offered very good, local fare. We shared the "porch" with colorful local characters that only enhanced our experience. We would definitely return at every opportunity.

I'm suspecting the chef is from New Orleans! We've been there 4 or 5 times now and can't get enough. Friendly staff with a menu that will please multiple personalities. The shrimp and grits are to die for! Leave room for cheesecake beignets!!!! Can't wait to return!

Rather out in the woods, did not feel food was all that special. Seems locals like it there, kid friendly.

The food was great a little but over priced for the amount you get but it was good. Brittany was server, very nice and attentive. Had great personality. Enjoyed server more than food. Might go back

This place is really out of the way. We for Sunday lunch. The shrimp special was small for 10.95. Had half scoop of potato salad and one hush puppy and about 8 shrimp. Quiche was okay had lots of cheese and no bacon as advertised, the crust was very light and good. The others enjoyed their meal. The waitress was... More

Although out of the way, The Front Porch is worth the drive. Its a quirky, eclectic place. They have wonderful specials, large portions, and great drink specials. They really do know how to fry food. It is never greasy or heavily battered. Ligth as a feather. They have the best onion rings I have ever eaten. My husband had a wonderful... More
