Description: For three decades, Scranton's has been serving exceptional cuisine in a unique, casual dining atmosphere. The restaurant makes its home in downtown Pascagoula, Mississippi, in a historic, early 1920's building that once housed the town's firehouse and city hall.Today, remnants of the town's history remain a distinctive part of the dining experience. Guests are welcomed to browse the premises and peek inside the old town vault; dine in the spot where the mayor once conducted business; touch the bars of the town's original jail cell, and glimpse the bright red door that once opened to the old firehouse. But the main attraction at Scranton's is the food - mouthwatering dishes brilliantly prepared with a local flair. Like Scranton's signature Shrimp & Grits; our special recipe of shrimp, mushrooms, peppers and onions poured over baked & seasoned grit cakes. You'll also want to try our Smoked Pulled Pork, slow-cooked and smoked to perfection on premise - or our hearty Crab Cakes, perfectly seasoned and loaded with succulent lump crabmeat. Then there's our unforgettable Seafood Gumbo, She-Crab Soup, savory burgers, crispy fried seafood, Po-boys, salads, fresh fish, juicy steaks, and specials that change daily. The list goes on, but it's always easy to see how Scranton's continues to earn its loyal following and win new fans each day. Come join us for lunch or dinner today, soak in a bit of local history, and experience the great food, fun and friendship that have made Scranton's famous.

Stopped here for dinner while in town for business. The food was average at best. I had the catch of the day. The fish was flavored well but a bit over cooked and chewy. Not how I prefer Mahi. The table was wobbly and sticky. Service was ok. Others have mentioned the ambiance but it just felt old and worn... More

We've been to Scranton's before many times but this was one of the best meals we've had there. We tried the Bronzed Salmon and were delighted how fresh and seasoned it was. The service was great (Heather was our waitress). It's always fun to eat at Scranton's surrounded by history and good food!

The atmosphere of the old building is fine, but the food did not meet our expectations. Our server was nice. She said the chef prides himself on his steaks and that their mac & cheese is homemade. The steak was tough and very fatty (probably cut off as much as 1/4 to 1/3 of it as fat). The mac &... More

I went into Scranton's for the first time with my parents. This is an old converted fire-house, with neat pictures on the walls. The atmospere is great and flows well. Several people waited on us, and always made sure we had enough drinks to go around. My parents ordered the Reuben sandwich and the club salad. I tasted the reuben... More

We stopped here on our way to New Orleans and really liked it. The building is an old firehouse and is really neat. There's a map on the menu and they tell you to get up and look around. I had the yellowfin tuna with sweet potato fries and it was really good and a pretty good price! I'd definitely... More

My husband have been going to Scranton's for many years. We love the old firehouse, mayor's room and memorablia. The food has always been good and even very good. I like the fact that I can have a salad, a sandwich or more hearty entree. We love the cozy little bar and can always enjoy our glass of wine. Great... More

Didn't see what all the fuss was about, but it was good food. I liked the fact that its an old firehouse more than the actual food.

Had not eaten at Scranton's in years until this evening. Small party of six folks ate here before attending a night meeting. Ambience is excellent in the old fire station building that houses the restaurant. Service was tops and the food was quite good. I had the California salad which was made of grilled shrimp over a bed of lettuce... More

My husband and I stopped for dinner on our travels. It's a large place with lots of rooms. The service was very good. We had a chicken dish, macaroni and cheese and chowder. All were excellent! We will definitely return.

We ate here yesterday! It was very taste and average price. My husband got the club sandwich, my daughter got firecracker shrimp (super yummy) and I got the Club Salad. My youngest got a grilled cheese. They were out of children menus but still brought her the crayons to use on the coloring book she brought with her. Service was... More
