For three decades, Scranton's has been serving exceptional cuisine in a unique, casual dining atmosphere. The restaurant makes its home in downtown Pascagoula, Mississippi, in a historic, early 1920's building that once housed the town's firehouse and city hall.Today, remnants of the town's history remain a distinctive part of the dining experience. Guests are welcomed to browse the premises and peek inside the old town vault; dine in the spot where the mayor once conducted business; touch the bars of the town's original jail cell, and glimpse the bright red door that once opened to the old firehouse. But the main attraction at Scranton's is the food - mouthwatering dishes brilliantly prepared with a local flair. Like Scranton's signature Shrimp & Grits; our special recipe of shrimp, mushrooms, peppers and onions poured over baked & seasoned grit cakes. You'll also want to try our Smoked Pulled Pork, slow-cooked and smoked to perfection on premise - or our hearty Crab Cakes, perfectly seasoned and loaded with succulent lump crabmeat. Then there's our unforgettable Seafood Gumbo, She-Crab Soup, savory burgers, crispy fried seafood, Po-boys, salads, fresh fish, juicy steaks, and specials that change daily. The list goes on, but it's always easy to see how Scranton's continues to earn its loyal following and win new fans each day. Come join us for lunch or dinner today, soak in a bit of local history, and experience the great food, fun and friendship that have made Scranton's famous.

Tasty food

Restaurant specializes on using local ingredients. Regional dishes are good but having some additional choices that are not fried would be a nice addition. Service was very pleasant and attentive. a very nice alternative to the chains.

Service was very good but the meal was average at best. We had the pasta special, with meatballs. Said including garlic but the flavor was lacking, bland. Not a place I plan to revisit.

This was recommendation of one of the locals that attended the meeting. Service was a bit slow but the food was very good. Atmosphere was eclectic and relaxing. The fried pickles were excellent.

The best thing about Scranton's is when you walk in, you see history and community. The building is an old firehouse from the town of Scranton before Pascagoula was formed. They always have specials. Seafood, pasta, burgers, po boys, the best firehouse salad or nachos you will ever have!!! I crave both often! The prices are reasonable. The staff is... More

When I stay in Pascagoula I stay at: The Grand Magnolia Ballroom and walk down the street to enjoy a bowl of She Crab soup from Scranton...every time! Make sure to take advantage of their happy hour and chat it up with the locals!

The most outstanding was the service. They were quickly seating us and brought immediately some bread for the entertainment of our little one. And hot water for heating the bottle. The decor is pretty cool, making it a comfortable and welcoming. And the restaurant is located in a nice area of town, that invites to stroll after lunch. The food... More

Lots to choose from and great servers. Friendly, relaxed atmosphere. Bartender makes great mixed drinks. Servers were very attentive and offered desert and coffee upon completion of meal.

A great place to dine in what we found to be a great city. Set in an old courthouse/firehouse the staff go out of their way to accommodate your questions and curiosity. Not only was this an unique dining experience, but the menu items were quite reasonable. If I am ever anywhere near, I'm heading back to Scranton's!!!!!

I've been eating here since 2005, and the food is constantly good. I've had a few really good meals here, but it's pretty average overall. If you're looking for a place for a business lunch for more than three people make reservation and tell them you have about 20% more people than you do so they give you a table... More

I had the grilled mahi mahi with sweet potato fries, and enjoyed the meal. The restaurant is located an old fire house. It's casual and the prices are fine. I'd certainly have another meal there, if I find myself in this neck of the woods again.
