Fun atmosphere, great meat and sauce, decent sides. Had the sampler, the sausage and pulled pork were the best. Potato salad and collards were great!

My wife had the pulled pork sandwich which was good. I had the sliced brisket sandwich which had 2 pieces of brisket and alot more bun than meat. After removing about 1/3 of the portion in fat it left a portion looking like the new whopper jr. ar Burger King. $7.95?? Not much value there. They asked if we were... More

This place is a dump...but I mean that in a good way..haha It was so good we stopped by there twice once on the way to Florida and then on the way back home to Texas. The food was awesome my wife is still talking about the potato salad and G maws beans. The pulled pork and the ribs rock... More

The Shed is a very unique place to visit. It has many eye catching signs and gadgets to grad your interest. The food is amazing!!!! You will be stunned at the portion you get for the buck. The staff is nice and eager to please. Take a walk around because the place has lots to see.

Our family of four recently made the stop at The Shed BBQ & Blue Joint on our way from Orange Beach, AL to New Orleans, LA. Like many others, we stopped here because of the The Shed's reputation from the Food Network. We were not disappointed. We all tried something a little different from the menu. My 8 year old... More

Dont let look of this place scare you away, or intimidate you. I was luck enough to visit on a slow time of year but I cannot imagine this place on a crazy busy summer day. The place is unique and has some serious Southern charm! The people and staff are friendly here and the food is delicious and is... More

Tried twice to stop here, closed each time and was not posted on the website. It would be nice if the website had a blurb which said if it was going to be closed.

Finally travelled near this joint. It is 1,000 yards from the interstate. Very eclectic cool place. Dr Seuss meets bayou! The meats were very good could taste the smoke - sauce is sweet. If you have ever seen this episode on DDD, then you know how much brown sugar brad puts in his rub. We got sauce on the side.... More

We resolved to visit as many DDD restaurants as we could on our vacation this summer. The original Shed was the first. If you are looking for an "experience" - this is the place. If you are looking for unusually well cooked BBQ - this is the place. If you are looking for good value for your money - not... More

This was to be the high point of the trip for my husband, but it turned out to be one of my grandson's favorite places. The strung-together sheds, the gravel floors, the not-quite level picnic tables, the semi-open sides, plus all the dollar bills "forked" to the ceiling add to the ambience. We all enjoyed the sweet, sticky barbeque sauce.... More
