Making a claim to the best po-boy seems over the top, especially considering all the options in New Orleans. However, BB's fried shrimp is the mouth-watering best. I don't know what they do, but the breading is flaky and light--you don't feel stuffed after lunch, just incredibly happy. Don't miss the homemade soups; the sampler trio is a great way... More

Growing up in the northeast, luncheonettes offering decent mid- day meals especially sandwiches were common. A MS gulf coast version is bb. They offer exceptional po' boys including sea food along with sweet potato fries that can't be missed. Portions are large so ask for a to-go box.

I previously reviewed BB's when we first moved to the area. Since living here, we have become regulars. The service and food are consistently excellent, and we always enjoy our weekly visits. I am now a red beans and rice addict, and my husband swears he dreams about the Surf and Turf poboy. The sweet iced tea is just right... More

The poboys were not quite as good as advertised. But the autographed memorabilia on the walls is awesome. The crab paste patty on some poboys was not to my liking. The service was excellent and the location is fantastic. Price is fair

Everything about BB's...from the quaint and famed décor, southern hospitality and incredible food...best represents the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Po boys, gumbo, bisques, crab patties, you name it...all are excellent. We will go well out of our way to stop here to eat and say hi. Love it.

My family and I have been dining here for years and we love their seafood and the consistent quality he family and staff continue to provide. They are only open for lunch but it's worth the wait if there is a line. Their seafood gumbo is the best on the coast in a restaurant. I usually get the salad with... More

One of the worst sandwiches ever. Got the crabmeat / cheese. One of those lunches that sticks with you & not in a good way. Never again.

We hit BB's a couple of times a week. Especially good are the shrimp PoBoys and his homemade soups. Creole shrimp and tomato bisque on Thursday and mushroom soup on Weds. Fried oysters and sweet potato fries are good, too.

I found this restaurant on tripadvisor.com. Cute and quaint atmosphere. Very nice and helpful staff. I had the shrimp and corn chowder (tasted okay), the broccoli, bacon, cheddar bites (delicious!!!), and the fried shrimp with crabmeat dressing poboy (outstanding!). The food was great, but the bill was outrageous! My husband, daughter, and I went to lunch there. Hubby got a... More
