As another reviewer pointed out, this restaurant is now called Frenchie's. It was good at it's previous location, but even better now!! I am sorry the previous reviewer had a bad experience; I think this is one of the best restaurants I have eaten at in Ocean Springs. They serve a local fish called triple-tail, and it is OUTSTANDING!!! There... More

This restaurant has moved to a different location, is now called Frenchie's Bistro, and is on Government Street.. We dined there tonight with some friends, and I can almost think of nothing good to say about it. I was given the wrong order twice. My husband's steak was so tough it was almost inedible. My friend's steak was sent back because... More

This restaurant is off the beaten path in Ocean Springs, but well worth a visit!!!! The atmosphere is minimalist, but very cozy. The service was impeccable and the seafood was the absolute BEST we have had on the MS-AL gulf coast. Although a little on the pricey side, this will be a favorite stop of ours from now on!!!!

A friend told us to go here and I'm glad he did! The food was excellent, the waitress and the atmosphere on the back deck were also great.

Walked in on a bright and sunny afternoon.. Empty desk, no staff in sight. Was about to turn around and leave when a waitress finally pops around the corner and says "We're closed. Just kidding!" ......Yeah, not funny. They should have been though because we waited a good part of the day for our food without so much as a... More

I hadn't heard much about the restaurant so was always aprehensive, especially since I had such bad experiences with Shady's, which was the owner's husband's restaurant. How dumb was I to wait so long to try it. Everything we had was spectacular. Since my friends and I always sample eachothers dishes I can tell you that the hummus, brisket sandwhich,... More

A group of friends went on a Tuesday at lunch. There was only one other table with customers. We were there for over an hour. When I asked the server for our check she told me I would have to wait until she got around to it. I was shocked. Needless to say none of our group has been back.... More

Ok, maybe it was just the time of day to blame- mid-afternoon on a Tuesday... I'm not sure but we did not expect to wait nearly an hour for our food or would definitely have gone elsewhere! When we walked in there was no hostess in site, after a few awkward minutes we were finally seated, but without menus or... More

May 22, 2012 Porter Avenue Bistro Ocean Springs, MS So, for Girls Night Out this week we picked the Porter Avenue Bistro! If you haven't been to this one yet you really need to seek it out - it's fantastic! There was a small crowd, but we were seated immediately! It took a while to get my drink order, but... More

Staff tried but was slow. Everything took longer than it should. The food was good but you need to pack a lunch.
