The food was awesome! Good prices, huge portions and everything was delicious! My husband had the Catfish Anthony, I had the fried shrimp platter and our son had the fried chicken- all meals were delicious, and we would happily go back on our next visit to the Gulf Coast. It's a small restaurant, our waitress was a very sweet girl,... More

I had dinner here after eating there many years ago! It was as good as I can remember. It offers a great view of the back bay. The shrimp are great. The only thing that could make it better if there was a boiled option. I did have a very strange waitress but she provided great service.

My husband, daughter, and I went to dinner here. The atmosphere was comfy and homey. I ordered the catfish fillets and sweet potato. Slaw and homemade biscuits with apple jelly are on the table with unlimited refills. The biscuits were good; the slaw was okay. My husband ordered all-you-can-eat fried chicken, and my daughter ordered the regular fried chicken plate.... More

Food was average to mediocre. Good biscuits. Catfish, shrimp, and french fries tasted like they came off a steam table and weren't cooked fresh for our table.

While the atmosphere seems a bit plain to me, the service was extra good, food was great, and the value can't be beat! I had the combo all you can eat catfish and shrimp, with fries and home made hush puppies! Fried green tomatoes are something special as well. Can't wait to go back very soon...

I love shrimp. They offer an all you can eat shrimp or catfish option. The shrimp was fresh and large. Some of the best I've had. Great atmosphere: it's an old house with several separate rooms for dining. Service was good. Had a nice view of the bayou. Would certainly return when I'm in the area again.

Don't understand some of these recent reviews, cuz, we drive from northern Michigan every couple years and this place is one of the reasons we visit the area. We enjoy Aunt Jenny's immensely, and always look forward to coming here. This year, however, we arrived in town shortly before the ice storms and Aunt Jenny's was closed for 2 days,... More

This place just isn't that good. I really can't understand what the hype is about. The food is incredibly greasy and tends to be under seasoned. Also, don't visit in the heat of the summer. There's no air conditioning and the heat and humidity is outrageous which may be why the breading is never crispy.

We shared the large fish and shrimp combination. The catfish was tasty and the shrimp was okay.We enjoyed the fried green tomatoes before the meal. The staff was friendly and prompt. Coleslaw and biscuits (tasty but could have been warmer) were served as soon as we ordered.
