We stumbled on this place by accident a few years back and it has yet to disappoint us, it' a 63 mile drive but we try to go about once a month and it is always worth the drive. Set off the road a bit you have to look, it's homey and down to earth without all the glitz and... More

We have been to this seafood restaurant at least 10 times in the past year and have not been disappointed once. The prices were very reasonable, the servings generous, and the servers cordial and efficient. The fried seafood is definitely their forte. I have lived here all my life and had all kinds of seafood.

One of my grandsons wanted to go out to eat for his birthday and chose Seaman's Cove because he had been in there several times. I read the reviews and thought maybe we would be in for a not so good time and not so good food. All restaurants are not the same for everyone, even if you are there... More

I don't agree with the negative reviews. I am a Southern Boy transplanted to New England, back to the area for a business trip. I was just in the mood for some of that sinfully sumptuous Southern Gulf Coast seafood and the Cove did not disappoint. Cold beer, check. Briny and sweet oysters on the half-shell, check. Fried platter with... More

Went there a few years ago with family. Heard a crash in kitchen. Needless to say I had glass in my food, sliced my tongue. And they acted like I was at fault. Never been back......

Of all the times I was talked into going to this place, I never once got my monies worth or felt like the place was clean. It is more bar than I care for too. Service not good, food average to below and food not worth the price.

After reading several reviews we decided to venture to Seamans Cove. When we walked in I thought it was a mortuary. The atmosphere was very lacking. Only two staff members spoke with us, the hostess and our waitress. At most locally owned places they tend to have owners who greet or mingle with patrons. There was no music playing, so... More
