This place is a staple!! Love it!!

Their food has never disappointed me. The fried turnip green balls are so good I could eat them as my meal!!

Go for the music...check; Go for the sports screens...check; go for the fried tamales...wow...they are amazing. Lots of variety, and friendly folks to wait on you. Did I mention the fried tamales?

I visited the Madison location of Georgia Blue on a pleasant Sunday afternoon for lunch. I ordered the signature dish shrimp and grits. I was overwhelmed at how much food was served. There was a large portion of creamy cheddar cheese grits and jumbo shrimp on my plate. I could only it half of it. Although it was good, the... More

We have eaten here a few time. The food is good. The service is typically good. It can be a little pricy for the type of food. IT is usually loud in here so don't go if you are planning on having meaningful conversation.

Went here for lunch with a large group which is usually a recipe for disaster. Our waiter surprisingly pulled it off. Our food was served hot and our orders were correct. Unique menu choices and everyone seemed pleased with their selections from appetizers to entrees. Well done Georgia Blue

I had lunch at Georgia Blue in Madison today, September 30, 2014. The first thing I did was order a martini. The bartender didn't know that an olive goes in a martini, then when I got the drink the glass was only about 3/4 full. That is an insult, and it is especially an insult when you pay $9.50 for... We’re sorry you feel that way. Martini glass sizes vary from restaurant to restaurant. We have large martini glasses but I assure you we do not short anyone on their drink! Preferences vary for seasoning and presentation, however we would have been happy to correct it for you. More

The plate lunch specials are great - my favorite is the fried catfish. If you have a chance, you have to try their turnip greens (the best!). Their burgers are really tasty too. Usually a wait during lunch, but usually not more than 15 minutes.

I've been to very few franchise restaurants that are as good as this! The menu has such a wide variety. We always have had great service. On weekends, there is usually a wait but it's worth it! You can't beat the blue plates at lunch.

A friend and I ate here during a football game. We sat next to the bar so that we could watch the game. The service was just great. The food was so good. Both of us thoroughly enjoyed what we ate. I ordered the shrimp tacos and they were some of the best I've had!
