We heard of this place from a friend that stopped by during travel. Since we were camping in Brookhaven (45 min away), we decided to check it out. I don't eat much and don't like most of the food on the buffet. My husband on the other hand loves the good ol' country cooking with greens and cornbread. I opted... More

The owner does make perhaps the best fried chicken I have ever had. The buffet does contain some slightly overlooked corn, for the most part the buffet is very good. The potato salad is made correctly & tastes delicious. The greens seemed a tad overdone, but it's a buffet, maybe that's a given. The muffins were stiff, but with adequate... More

If you want a healthy meal, this is not the place. If you want to join the growing ranks of obesity, eat here. No menu, only buffet. Consisted of iceberg lettuce, not very green. The corn bread muffins were extremely dry and I found no butter for them. There was no fried chicken on the buffet, which I expected to... More

We had read some great reviews for this place and luckily enough were staying nearby on our road trip so thought it was well worth the visit. Unfortunately, we were disappointed. The fried chicken was OK, certainly nothing to write home about. It was everything that was depressing - mac and cheese that was practically liquid it was so over... More

Stopped by on out way out of town from gutting grass at the deer camp. Passed this place 100 times and wondered why they were so busy on Sunday afternoon. I walked in and was immediately greeted by a friendly staff. The buffet was good old southern food. Wow!!!

The chicken, ribs, vegetables and especially the blackberry cobbler (with ice cream) were all delicious! The singing and conversation from Mr. D was great too! Genuine southern host!

After a morning in Vicksburg myself and a couple of friends set off for Nachez down route 61. It was suggested we stop here for lunch. The combination of what can only be described as an antiques/second-hand store with an all you can eat buffet is a genuinely novel concept. Added to this the extremely friendly nature of the owner,... More

Don't worry about driving out of your way to get to this restaurant because it's worth it. The food was great. The chicken is the best I've ever had and I've had a lot.
