Friendly staff and fast service

We had good service but our waitress wanted to visit with us too much for one of the people in our party's liking. The fried shrimp poboy was tasty and the other food looked good. On a more adventurous day I would try the Vietnamese food they also serve there. Local place for sure.

I eat breakfast at the Pelican 5 or 6 times a week and am always satisfied. They serve breakfasts all day.The beignets are a treat. They have several Vietnamese dishes as well as traditional American meals. For dessert try the fried ice cream. The wait staff is always friendly and courteous. No smoking is a plus. Great for families.

I know this is a local favorite well maybe its a favorite or thw rv'ers and snow birds because there is no other seafood place nearby. But i've lived on thw coast for over 25 years and actually I won't go back. It's worth it to find somewhere else. It's a little too pricey for what you get and when... More

This is our go-to restaurant for family breakfast in Long Beach. Friendly staff and a great way to get the day started.

Considering the prices, the food was poor quality. The seafood had obviously been frozen. Children's meals were particularly pricey.

We've tried here a few times now. Food is so poor, we can only assume it is due to the cheap prices. You get what you pay for. Greasy, heavy and imitation crab.

Casual dining. Good prices . The pelican sandwich is a sure bet. Excellant for breakfast too! Not a fancy place but food is good.

If you are driving on I-10 and want either a super breakfast or a great lunch, then listen up. Take exit #28 (Long Beach) and go south right at 2.9 miles. Next door to the Dollar General store is the Rusty Pelican Restaurant. This restaurant is owned by a lady who was an immigrant to this country. The restaurant -... More
