Love this place!

Great bbq---love the taco sampler of bbq brisket, pork and chicken. Love their fried green tomatoes as a side, too! They are perfect. Had their bbq chicken nachos and they were wonderful. Only thing I didn't care for was the BLT---bacon not crispy enough and sandwich kind of dry. Maybe the bread... read more

Good BBQ pit - friendly, simple, inexpensive, good, greasy food and awesome beer selection! What else can you ask for??? The atmosphere was great due to quiz taking place at dinner time, and the music selection in between questions rocks! Only downside - it was raining and there was only space outside, where half of our bench was picking up... More

This was fun place to visit. I had the taco trio and the brisket one was my favorite. One of our friends with us was disappointed because he went for the fried bologna sandwich and they were out. Had his heart set on it. But if you are in town worth checking out.

I can't believe I have to say this but...That fried bologna sandwich is one of the most amazing things I have ever eaten. Housemade, pecan wood smoked, topped with a fried egg, on brioche. unreal. Seriously, I run a restaurant, have graduated from culinary school and that bologna is the real deal. there is a reason "bologna" is synonymous with... More

Stopped in on a trip to Lousiana. They food was awesome. The beef brisket had a very good smoke flavor and tenderness. They staff were also very friendly.

So happy we found this restaurant! A one of a kind establishment of the very best barbeque around. A plethora of local beers to choose from as well! Make sure this is not missed!!

This was a great find when we were passing through Jackson. It eas recommended to us by a local and after convincing the wife that we need to go we were pleasantly surprised. I though you find this kind of gems only on one of those Food network shows but...i finally found one. The ambience is amazing it is a... More

first of all, thank you again to trip advisor for helping us to find another satisfying restaurant. I do not typically give an excellent rating to many restaurants but this one easily receives the top score. Used trip advisor to find a BBQ place since the employees at our hotel could not recommend anything locally that they were familiar with.... More

I really like this place. I've been a few times, and it's easiest to go during times of the year when you don't mind to sit outside. The seating inside is very limited and you're definitely going to know your neighbors by the end of the meal (not necessarily a bad thing). The pulled pork nachos and barbeque tacos are... More

We were looking for a local BBQ place and staying in a motel and not familiar with town. It was raining and the Pig had only outdoor tables. One was half under the roof and half sort of dry. My 91 year old Mother couldn't stand up long so we wedged in. Much more of a young and boistrous crowd... More
