Shrimp and Gouda grits with yeast rolls says it all.

A popular bar with a food service side. Service people helpful and cheerful. Special request gleefully granted burgers are great with sweet potatoe fries are a good choice. Shrimp and Gouda grits will induce after dinner coma. Eat here it is fun and good!!

Was so good the first time... I had to try it again! Was told that I had to try the fried chicken sandwich... and was so glad that I heeded to the suggestion. On a second visit (within the same week of the first visit) I decided to try the shrimp & grits. They had to be one of the... More

I've only dined here for lunch, albeit many times. This is a very popular local eatery located on the Northwest corner of the Highland Village shopping mall. My favorites are the fried chicken, chicken, chicken salad and the portabello mushroom burger.

The food here was o.k. It was very pricey. The restaurant was freezing cold. They brought out the wrong side dishes, but they did correct the problem. The fried chicken was not completely done. I might be back, but problably not.

They have brunch on sunday which is excellent, but regardless of the time you go, you have to have either the rosemary chicken or the rosemary chicken tenders. The decor is really unique and you must go here if you are eating at only one place in Jackson.

I stopped in for lunch after flying into town after hearing good things about this place. It was a trendy place and sported a great atmosphere. I started with the Tuna Tower, and I was disappointed at the execution of the dish. Everything was right (flavor wise), but the rice was WAY under cooked and the tuna was not what... More

Finally got around to Julep for Valentine's this year. Loved it! Staff, decor, and food exemplary. I'll remember to ask for seating AWAY from the kitchen next time-just a hair noisy. Outside of that, STRONG recommend!

Went here for lunch on a Saturday. Started with delicious portobello fries. Between the four of us we had the grilled ham and cheese, ahi tuna salad, Cajun crawfish on penne and the so-called award winning fried chicken. We all enjoyed our meals although I thought the Cajun crawfish on penne was the best dish. The fried chicken had a... More

Went in to eat but the noise was terrible. Had a drink then left quickly. Did not want to eat with all the noise. Not a place for quiet conversation. Only fish on N the menus with one $30.00 steak! Had to leave.

I heard about the fried chicken sandwich and eggplant fries and had to give this place a try. I have to admit both the chicken and fries were unique and VERY TASTY! The chicken sandwich is quite large and comes with your choice of unique fries (eggplant, mushroom, sweet potato or regular). The chicken has some kind of sweet glaze... More
