I really enjoyed my first trip to Two Sisters Kitchen. We were greeted immediately as soon as we entered the restaurant. It was very busy but we didn't have to wait to be seated. This is a buffet serve yourself restaurant. The salad bar was rather disappointing because there was not a large selection of items from which to choose.... More

My cousins raved about the food and service at Two Sisters so I decided to pay a visit. I'm happy that i did! The food; especially the fried chicken, buttered corn and black - eyed peas among other items were absolutely delicious!!

It was our first visit. We had to admit that I was not impressed with the décor of the restaurant. It was busy and crowded. We had to eat upstairs and come down the stairs get more food. It may be designed so nobody would eat too much. The food was not fancy but tasted good. The bread pudding was... More

If you are looking for some great Southern Food, then stopping here while in Jackson is a must. The fried chicken and country fried steak were very good, however, they take a backseat to the sides. Some of the best sweet potatoes, fried okra and collard greens I have ever tasted. And let us not forget the banana pudding. I... More

Oh my, the food was excellent!! I really enjoyed the homemade biscuits with honey. The chicken was not greasy, which is always a good thing. Two Sisters Kitchen serves a buffet style lunch. The price was reasonable, which includes a drink and dessert. I will eat here again. They are not open on weekends or in the evening.

I would say this might be the best plate lunch type place in Jackson. It is always a solid choice when eating near the capitol. The outdoor patio is very relaxing and great for visiting.

A must do if visiting Jackson. Staff were friendly and attentive, place was comfortable - very homey. Food was delicious. The biscuits were amazing - I could happily eat those every day. Fun break from the norm for us Northern folks.

Have eaten here several times with others. I honestly say that the food here is average. Buffet style, the salad area is pretty good. Homecooked vegetables, fried chicken, and a dessert are always available. Upstairs seating is really hard to get to---to carry a plate and manage the narrow steps is not easy. This is housed in an old house/home.... More

The terminus of our travels this day was Jackson, Mississippi’s capitol city. We arrived about 11:30. We pulled into a shopping center parking lot to select a place to have lunch. It turns out that many of TripAdvisor’s top picks are not open on Sunday. However, we found a highly rated place called Two Sisters Kitchen which is downtown, within... More
