Don't waste your time and money! I begged my husband to take me for months, and I was highly disappointed. It's a buffet style dinner with VERY few options. There were only two meat choices (both chicken fried and baked) and the rest sides beans, greens, corn, and bread...THAT'S IT!!! I ate outside; the atmosphere was nice...but my food not... More

The idea of eating at a quaint restaurant made us go; however the restaurant is unusual. When you walk in you must get a table from the hostess/owner. This is an old home with multiple room with old wooden tables and chairs- very beat up and dirty. You are given a table in one of the rooms and told to help... More

If it’s home cooking you want in a home atmosphere, this is a place to go. When I say “home” I mean that the restaurant is in an old home converted to the restaurant. It has “atmosphere” and it is an eating experience. You have two price options of getting the buffet with or without fish. There are limited options... More

I have eaten at this restaurant twice ( I try to give ever place a second chance; unless, it was beyond horrible the first time). This place is simply southern cooking on a average day. I love southern cooking, and I was raised in a home where it was cooked regularly. With that being said, I can truly appreciate good... More

Recently made a trip to New Orleans and stopped here on the way down. Delicious southern food, especially the fried chicken, in an old house. Great, friendly service. Apple crisp dessert was awesome and my wife said it was the best bread pudding she's ever had. We enjoyed it so much that we made sure to stop back again on... More

We were traveling to the beach and found this beauty of a gem in Jackson! First, they were open on Sunday, second, they were off the beaten path- so we could see a few historical sites as we drove into historic downtown, and third- travelers and church goers alike we're sitting at tables next to each other inside and out... My wife and I arrived before opening due to the lunch rush and that was a smart move. From the moment we were greeted inside the door and sat down, the whole staff was very welcoming. The buffet was great and the fried chicken was just like grandma's, and maybe better. The vegetables had a great flavor and we will... More

Every time I get to visit my family, I do my best to get to Two Sisters. Their food is phenomenal - great, authentic Southern cooking without the extra greasiness. The owners and wait staff are always wonderful; I don't think I've ever had a bad experience service or food-wise. Go early if you want a seat inside; else, you'll... More

I am so glad we were able to eat at this place for lunch on our drive back to Chicago from Florida! It is authentic southern food! Very good fried chicken and catfish. It's buffet style (not sure if it's like that all the time). We went for lunch on a Friday. All the southern fixings too, like grits, collard... More

I really enjoyed my first trip to Two Sisters Kitchen. We were greeted immediately as soon as we entered the restaurant. It was very busy but we didn't have to wait to be seated. This is a buffet serve yourself restaurant. The salad bar was rather disappointing because there was not a large selection of items from which to choose.... More
