The table-side prepared guacamole is outstanding. The only problem is that you eat to much to fully enjoy your entree. The beef short rib is my favorite dish. My daughter loves steak on a stick. Great place for lunch for our family.

First, I'm glad the crowd has finally died down a bit! We got there for an early dinner at 5:30 and missed the big dinner crowd and wait for a table! We also caught the happy hour specials. The lamb taco was great as usual and the new shrimp taco was good too. I went with the red sangria this... More

Incredibly good food in a pleasant atmosphere. Not necessarily authentic cuisine but who cares when it is that good. Was a bit too hot for the outdoor dining but would like to give that a try when the weather cools down. Server was very knowledgeable and made some excellent recommendations.

We went today, Sunday, and little children are free, with a good children's menu. Our server, Jesse, was outstanding - recommendations, service... The avacado dip, made at your table, is a must have - wow. The rest of what we ordered was delicious. I highly recommend.

We went on a Sunday evening just before 6pm. I am glad we were there early because when we were leaving Babalus it was getting crowded. Our waiter was great. The tacos are different than what you usually get, they are kinda " cheffy". I am not very adventurous, they were delicious. Guacamole made table side is a nice touch... More

First off, this place gets very crowded on weekends. Second, the cocktails are of the industrial variety (from store bought mixers mostly), but the sangria is pretty good. The food is WAY overhyped. In fact, I don't think we've ever received hot food of any sort there...always seems to be merely warm when our server brought our tapas. The guacamole... More

Started with a huge explanation of how their margaritas and tacos were Award-winning, the best in South... Then there was the caveat that not all dishes would arrive simultaneously - to allow the food to arrive at its peak... With expectations set at the peak of the mountains, we dined in the valley. The signature margarita was sickly-sweet, appropriate for... More

If you show up in a busy night just wait it out, this place is worth it! The food is excellent. I highly recommend the guacamole and the black eye pea hummus. If RYAN is working ask to sit in his section, he's the best server I've had in a long while! He is very attentive, personable, polite, and will... More

The guacamole here was excellent, prepared at the table. The black-eyed peas hummus was tasty. Don't get the oysters--amazingly bland though. Drinks equally interesting though nowhere near enough bourbon.

You only need to know two things: 1) Go there for dinner on taco Tuesday night. 2) The tacos are small, but only $2 each. 3) Order several of the award winning BBQ tacos. We tried most of them. Most are very good, but the BBQ is the best (fusion) taco Ever. Bonus tip: The guacamole is fresh (made at... More
