Creative menu-touch of class

Upscale, white table cloth, classy down-south menu with a Spanish flavor. Small plates-Duck Sausage on Grits, braised short ribs with goat cheese gnocchi (best I've ever had) wife's entree was redfish and crabmeat in a rich cream sauce. Hope we get to go back!

First time to eat here after hearing good things and glad we braved the downtown construction nightmare to try it. Total lunch experience was an A+. Food, atmosphere, service --total package was great. Special kudos for the creme brûlée--best I've ever had.

My wife and I were recently visiting Jackson and we ate lunch at The Parlor, on the recommendation from several people. We were not disappointed. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing. The staff were helpful in meeting our needs, as we met four other people we knew and wanted to sit together. The staff adjusted the dining area for us,... More

My favorite Jackson DT restaurant when I visit and stay at the nearby HGI - King Edward. I walked a few blocks, sit at the bar, and have a great meal. This time Adie - bartender, was outstanding. Timely service, recommendations on some great beers, and I stuck with my favorite duck gumbo and the oyster salad. While Adie offered... More

Wow! This place was recommended by the concierge at the Marriott. We walked a couple of blocks to get there. The atmosphere is rich and beautiful. The food was exceptional. I had a Caesar salad that came with a whole cooked egg on top. Also had the duck gumbo which had duck cracklins that were so tasty. Finished it off... More

I had some clients come to town and stay at the King Edward Hotel downtown so I suggested Parlor Market. We had three appetizers (Mussels, Oyster's and Short Ribs). All were excellent. I tried the Double Cut Pork Chop special which was a great choice. It was moist and seasoned to perfection. For sides we had brussel sprouts which were... More

This restaurant is a trendy restaurant located in an unassuming historic building in an area of downtown Jackson that is slowly being reclaimed. It is a nice restaurant but not too stuffy upscale, very friendly staff and the food was very good. We took several clients. The server was knowledgeable and interesting. They had very interesting appetizers, salads were good... More

First of all, the duck sausage was phenomenal, as were all the apps and entrees we enjoyed. The cocktails were perfect, and the brick walls and decor created a relaxing ambiance that added to the overall wonderful experience. Totally looking forward to return visits to Jackson!

Wonderful restaurant with interesting menu, delicious food and excellent service. Brick-walled space is warm and casual, and everything combines to make it a great dining experience. Highly recommend it.
