Finally got back downtown to visit Parlor Market with some friends after a couple of years hiatus. Not what I had remembered from a great original experience in late 2012. Seems as the menu has no overall vision and the restaurant feels like it has lost its sparkle and oomph. Service was pretty good, but the food was nothing special.... More

My husband and I were so pleased to get reservations at this lovely restaurant for it was my son's graduation and we were very concerned we would not find a place to eat. However when we called they had a spot for us. It's much easier to walk there from our hotel then drive. The place is relaxing and has... More

eat here. My wife and I aren't familiar with Jackson, and the streets are tortuously complicated, but the food at Parlor Market made the pot holes worth the trip. The place is cozy and low-keyed with a nice bar and relaxed atmosphere. The menu is creative and thoughtful, lots of locally-sourced items and many small plate choices. Our server could... More

Very nice menu with great small plate choices. Be warned, however, the small plates are not that small! Sharing would be a good option here. The Gulf soft shell crab was wonderfully prepared. The server was very helpful and attentive. Good southern hospitality without the deep fryer.

Far above average southern cuisine. Very good mixologist bartenders. Portions are large and dishes, though yummy, tend to be heavy -- most couples could split one small plate and one entree. oysters fresh and good presentation. Red fish entree is unique and I you will like it if you like a little BBQ finish on your fish. Nice build out.... More

They make really great cocktails! I would recommend the duck sausage for an appetizer, and the lamb chops for an entree.

Casual elegance with a nicely curated menu. Dishes to try are the redfish, duck sausage, oysters on the half-shell and the brussel sprouts side dish. Menu on the pricey side but come for a special occasion!

I have been eating dinner at the PM for a few years now. I can firmly state that they have taken this place to the next level. They are on par with what is being produced at City Grocery in Oxford as well as many of the famed eateries in the MS delta. The oysters Rockefeller made with local chunks... More

Maybe not fair to rate on just one item but went in for small plates and wine and was full after oysters rockerfeller so didn't order more. Nice presentation but taste unremarkable and too much spinach making it very filling. Also very romantic ambience but I had to ask for the lights in the bar to be turned up just... More
