To be fair the food was great (hot, fresh, juicy, greasy, cheese burger) amazing onion rings. But the place is to small to have smokers inside. I can still literally smell the smoke on me two hours later. I will probably go back when I just want to take my food back to the office. But I would not take... More

It's a little hole in the wall place, frequented by locals, nothing to get excited about. It was Ok, I would rather eat at Dixie Queen in Southaven, the food is much better, for about the same amount of money. We ate at Boomers only once to satisfy our curiosity, and that pretty much did the job.

Seriously great home cooking. Finger licking good! Wonderful small town business. Has everything that a old style grill should! Not a chain restaurant so you don't get that feeling or that type food. For the sake of your own health get a milkshake for dessert.

My favorite is the fried bologna sandwich. It is fabulous. The ice cream shakes are very good also. We ate there numerous times during our visit to Memphis. We would highly recommend this... More

GREASE, oh how I love thee... Boomer's is seriously stingy with their tomatoes, so go ahead and order extra. Other than that, this is the very best greasy food you will find ANYWHERE ON THE PLANET. A burger, BLT, onion rings, or the BEST - a country fried steak sammich - it's all greasy and it's all good at Boomer's.... More
