For years I've heard people rave about southern BBQ. I used to dismiss it as just the party line on the subject. Once again, I was dead wrong. I was in Horn Lake on business a few months back and stopped at the Memphis BBQ company for lunch. Wow, the food was insanely good. I went back three more times... More

Saw this on DDD (foodnetwork) and wanted to try it. First it was so loud that we had to raise our voice just to talk to the waitress. We thought the food would be worth it but it was not. Don't know how they won all of those awards because we have had better in GA, AL, and TX.

Huge pork rinds dusted with dry rub and a ranch style dip. Buy a bag or 10 to take with you or you will be kicking yourself later. Award winning ribs if you couldn't tell by the signs and huge awards that are everywhere or by the feature on "Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives".

Not our first trip here, but we took someone from Kansas City to taste Memphis BBQ! We love the fresh fried pork skins and the cheese fritters, he was equally impressed. We ordered both dry and wet baby back ribs and a brisket sandwich. Sides included fries, onion rings, fried okra, cole slaw and turnip greens, all were great. Our... More

We eat here all the time! Free pork rinds come out first. They are yummy for sampling each BBQ sauce. There are lots of good menu options. Our favorite sides are the macaroni and cheese and turnip greens.

I stopped here for lunch. The staff was very pleasant. The fresh pork rinds sprinkled with seasoning was delicious, and I don't even like pork rinds. Then I found myself using the pork rinds as a vehicle for BBQ sauce. Then I ended up buying four bottles of BBQ sauce to take home. I had a brisket dip sandwich. It... More

Memphis BBQ has an excellent variety of all things barbecued. Ribs, pulled pork, smoked sausage, brisket, turkey, you name it, they got it. AS soon as you are seated a wait person brings you a fresh basket of just cooked pork skins sprinkled with a delicious BBQ flavored rub. Owner has won the Memphis In May International BBQ Contest more... More

No surprises with the entrees, but they brought out the best fried pork skins I've ever eaten in my life. I could have eaten the whole basket by myself.

You can always count on good barbecue at this restaurant. However, last night we ordered just appetizers and were very satisfied with our choices and the creativity of the items. We tried the cheese fritters. 5 large cheese balls resting on top of a honey dijon source. Very good and very cheesy. We also tried the loaded baked potato. We... More
