Well we are not from Mississippi maybe that is why we think this restaurant does not live up to its ranking. We've had better bar-b-que in Denver which is not known for that speciality. We had pulled pork. Maybe we would have been more impressed with the ribs. Don't know.

We have been eating here for several years and are never disappointed when we go. Great service, we never have to wait long. Food is always fantastic from the Bar B Que pork to the great beef. And you can order small or large orders depending on your appetite. They also have combo plates where you can get both. The... More

Best BBQ in South MS! Best people that own it. Thanks to Ms Bonnie for the many years of satisfying the hungry folks in the Pinebelt!

Ate here recently on a trip to Hattiesburg. Great sweet tea and probably the best pork ribs I've ever eaten. Reserve a block of nap time after leaving!

The pulled pork sandwich for lunch is my favorite. The people are the sweetest as is their tea. Fun atmosphere.

I have eaten here twice over the past two years. Neither time was I impressed. The sauce is VERY sweet. The chicken is average and the pulled pork below average. They do not serve brisket. Best bet is probably ribs. I believe this place used to be good many years ago but I think it has slid downhill.

The secret to good ribs, is how pliable and soft the meat is. I don't know about you but I hate having to gnaw on a bone for the last piece of beef or pork. That is NOT a problem here. All of the BBQ here is slow roasted for hours and falls right off of the bone. I had... More

After hearing a friend sing the praises of Leatha's, I just had to give it a try. I must say I wasn't disappointed. The service was great, as was the atmosphere; plain, simple, no frills structure, designed for the creation and consumption of some of the best ribs I have ever eaten.

Leatha's BBQ is a hidden gem. It can be tricky to find; it's tucked behind and next to the DQ. From the outside, it doesn't look like much. But boy oh boy, is the food ever good. By far the best BBQ (and I've had a lot of BBQ all over the country) I've ever had. The sides are also... More
