A little off the beaten path but definitely worth the trip. Great fried chicken and chicken livers. Wonderful buffet, vegetables of all kinds that were well prepared. Friendly staff and the food was fresh. The price was right.

The very best chicken I have ever had and wonderful flavored vegetables. I have gone at all hours of the day and it is usually full of patrons and the food is consistently terrific. My family usually take a container and buy extra brownies to take home. The price is extremely reasonable for and all you can eat delicious meal.... More

This southern gem set up like a Popeye's with a scrumptious buffet line at rock bottom prices. The atmosphere and plastic plates are nothing fancy but the food quality and taste MORE than make up for it. Friendly staff and mostly clean considering the traffic this dive gets. Self service custard and cobblers with pecans and fudge sauce a nice... More

We took a girls trip to New Orleans and were so excited about eating some of the southern food we have always heard about. We ate at Pat O'Briens and were disappointed, tried the Beignets at Cafe Monde, they were ok,(tasted like homemade donuts), tried fried alligator at the Abita Springs Restaurant and looked for someplace to try authentic cajun... We were driving down by the beach and happened to see an advertisement on one of the benches so we sought out Cajun's for the $8.29 lunch buffet. What a great surprise, and a very busy place. You pay first at the register, then work your way through the buffet line hoping that someone has left by the time you... More

This place has a very retro vibe, it's like a time trip to the 1970's. The restaurant and buffet were very clean and the staff were friendly. It's only like $8.50 for the buffet and compared to the $25 casino buffets I'd pick this place anyway. It's technically fast food, but most everything we had was homemade. The fried chicken... More

We stopped for lunch on the recomendation of a friend and reviews from trip advisor. We were a little dissapointed when we walked in,it was small, not much seating and limited selections. What a surprise! A lovely couple offered to share their table with us and a huge selection was not needed because the food was soooo good, even the tarter sauce was the... More

The food is really great and the price can't be beat! However, it's a little hectic getting through the buffet line and finding a place to sit. First you stand in line to pay (which can take some time while the cashier fields take-out orders) but then the food choices and quality are really great.
